We had an amazing trip in Iriomote with Iriomote Osanpo Kibun. They were able to accommodate us even though we only booked our trip the night before. Kai-san, our guide, was fantastic. He shared lots of information about the mangroves, as we kayaked through them. We did a short trek to the Pinaisara Falls, where we took a dip and stopped for lunch. After lunch we went on snorkelling tour. We went to two different spots and saw lots of tropical fish, including turtles. It was a wonderful trip, we felt in safe hands the entire time and were very appreciative of Kai-san’s guidance and knowledge.

Our family of four (two 8-year olds) were taken to the waterfalls via kayak care of Ogawa-san. It was an excellent trip. Ogawa-san speaks flawless English, he served scrumptious hot soba in the middle of a jungle clearing, and the entire adventure could not have been more smooth. All in all the services of this company are a 10 out of 10.

The trip was amazing. We saw beautiful places, kayaked in the mangrove forests, climbed up and ate delicious lunch under the wonderful Pinaisara waterfall. What is also unbelievable that we did this with our almost 3 years old daughter. It was quite an adventure but we felt safe all the time thanks to the professional and kind leading of Issey Ogawa. We highly recommend the tour and the company for everyone visiting the island even with small children. Don't miss this amazing experience and pick the best guides ;)

The tour guides were great. We asked about a caving and waterfall tour and they were able to make something for my wife and I on short notice.
It is the off season at the time of writing this, but they were able to accept us the day prior to the tour.
I fully recommend these tour guides.

I booked the Pinaisara Falls 1 day tour, and it was a great experience from start to finish. Naoya is very well organized, professional and his English is great. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who loves nature and who isn't afraid of getting wet :)

Nao met us as we got off the ferry in Uehara. There were 5 of us on this day tour which included kayaking, short hike up to the waterfall, lunch, and snorkeling in the open sea! Nao was attentive to all our needs and the activities were perfect in every way. The highlight of the day was the open sea snorkeling and did not have to swim far to see the sea of fish. My 14 years old child totally enjoyed it. It was an amazing experience.
We would highly recommend this tour to anyway who is visiting Ishigaki.

We did the half day tour river kayaking to Pinaisala waterfall.
Nao came to our hotel for pick-up and shown us how to paddle. There is no problem if you are beginner or first timer (last time I was on a kayak was 10 years ago but it was really easy to paddle the river).
There is no need to bring any equipment.
During the river kayaking and hiking to Pinaisala we learned interesting things about the fauna and flora from Nao. The river, waterfall and hiking path were very beautiful and not crowded.
I recommend the tour if you are japanese non speaking person (the website in english is very convenient and well describes all tours available) and also for japanese people.
Next time we will do one day sea kayaking for sure.

We did a short half a day tour on February 12th 2015 and really loved it! The half a day tour was a very good option for beginners, we had enough kayaking to get excited about it and the waterfall was superb. Our guide the owner has very fluent English, has very good knowledge about the area, the mangroves, the vegetation etc., could not have gone better.
Highly recommended tour operator with fluent English, good knowledge and good equipment.

Naoya was awesome. He was extremely knowledgeable about the natural surroundings and was very patient with our toddlers (age 4 and 2) who were kayaking for the first time. We had an enjoyable time kayaking for about 90 minutes surrounded by different species of mangrove trees then doing a short trek to see old mangrove trees. Naoya then dropped us off at Star Sand Beach, a beautiful and secluded turquoise beach near Uehara Port. The beach was empty on a February Thursday afternoon. We then took the ferry company’s scheduled bus service to the port. Naoya was a wonderful guide to spend the day with - extremely friendly and generous.
Logistically, Naoya picked us up after the 45min ferry from Ishigaki to Uehara Port (one of Iriomote’s ports). A quick 10min drive to the river, and 10 minutes on the return to the beach after kayaking. The ferry counter in ishigaki gave us free bus tickets from Star Sand Beach (Hoshizuna) to Uehara Port and told us to have our guide book the 14:00 bus time beforehand, which Naoya did for us. Naoya also showed us where the bus stop was, as there are 2 by the beach entrance. While waiting for the ferry to Ishigaki, we picked up fresh pineapples from the stand across from the supermarket, as advised by Naoya.
Ps- Naoya spent time in Oregon and speaks fluent English

Great and fun day at Iriomote. We did the half day waterfall tour to pinaisara and it was so much fun kayaking through the Mangrove forest and then afterwards hiking to the waterfall. At the waterfall you can even swim and let yourself flow, which was kinda nice. Although we had a tour without lunch, we got coffee, fruits and biscuits for free from our tour guide Nao. Besides that he was also very nice and very informative. He spoke perfectly English and has even driven us to the starsand beach after the tour, as we still had some time before the ferry back to Ishigaki departed. Definitely recommended trip, which is totally worth the money!
