This church was founded by the Danish missionary, Reverend Frederik Christian Schwartz, in 1779. The Church is quite big and magnificent. We prayed here peacefully.

After viewing the magnificent Brihadishwara Temple the relatively small and unimposing Schwartz Church does not make much of an impression. A quick visit is all that is required. Tricky to get a photo of the complete church.
