One of the most important temple for Lord Murugan in Tamil Nadu. The temple is located in the outskirts of Kumbakonam. You need to climb quiet a few steps to reach this temple. It is easily about 50 feet from the road level. Be ready to climb the steps to have darshan of the deity. This arupadai veedu of lord Murugan is a significant milestone and must see for visitors. Having said this, it was somewhat disappointing to see that the temple is not well maintained. It would be great if they took more care into the tidiness and appearance of the vicinity to make it more appealing to visitors. …
