Sri Ramar and Sita with his brothers are in the temple. Beautiful sculptures are there in the pillars of the Mandapam. The paintings on the inner Pragaram reveals Ramayanam.

Located at the heart of Kumbakonam town, this temple is highly attractive within the locals. But, if you are willing to stay couple of nights in Kumbakonam, this should be in your list of visit. Excellent treat, architecturally and spiritually!!

This brilliant Ramaswamy Temple is dedicated to Ramachandra (Lord Ram). Besides the gorgeous architecture, one would find the entire story of the Ramayana along the walls of the temple (outer cloister), a wonderful sight!
