This ancient and Gigantic Siva (Brihadeeswara )temple of CHOLA period is a world Heritage monument spread in a vast area. Its monolithic stone on the top of the shrine is an Engineering marvel. DO NOT MISS IT, while in TANJAVUR.

You can enter temple complex by wheel chair. but entering the temple is difficult by wheel chair as it is at elevated height with steps to climb. however the authorities will surely help to mobilise the devotees by wheel... More

Yes. It is a photo friendly temple :) but not inside the temple where the main diety is there

They won't allow inside the temple but you can take photographs in temple premises

You can hire a local cab for visiting these temples as it requires some amount of travel. E.g. Garbharakshambigai temple is located in a small town called Thirukarugavur which is close to 25KM from Thanjavur. Also, Gangai konda Cholapuram is close to 70KM from Thanjavur. So it would be convenient if you could hire a cab to visit all these temples in a go.
