This temple is just beside the giant Buddha statue and they only maintain the giant Buddha statue. This temple is quite and peaceful and has enough place to sit and meditate if you want to.

Architecturally Arresting
Nov 2016 • Couples
It is architecturally arresting but has no historic or heritage value. It can be completely avoided if you are hard-pressed for time and want to spend more time inside Mahabodhi Temple.

The complex also have The Great Buddha Staue
Jul 2015
The Shakado, established in 1983, is the main building of Daijokyo Buddhist Temple. The Main Hall on the first floor enshrines the principal images of Daijokyo: the Eternal Shakyamuni Buddha, Visistacaritra, Anantacaritra, Visuddhacaritra and Supratisthitacaritra. The three-story pagoda atop the rooftop contains Reliquary Hall (third floor) which enshrines holy relics of Buddha, and Founder's Hall (second floor). Adjoining area has the great Buddha statue.
