This temple can be reached at the entrance of Bodh gaya.. enquire about Sujatha bypass road and reach there..

on the left side, you could see the temple standing with its Pure white color seen at a distance..

Neat provisions were made for keeping your shoes. take 10 to 15 steps and you could see Buddha sitting Majestically with a smile in his lips and mercy in his face..

Dont miss this place..

It is a Thai temple situated at Bodhgaya. The temple has an attractive architecture with a white coloured Buddha statue sitting in open air. When we visited Bodh Gaya in late March’22, entry to the temple was closed and hence visitors could only view the temple from outside.

Beautiful white and grey Thai Buddhist temple adjacent to Wat Thai Buddhasawika. The most notable feature is that it doesn't have the usual Thai coloured glass and the huge white statue of Buddha just after the steps up to the temple.

We were not aware of this temple and we stopped after spotting it.
This temple is not open for visitors yet and a caretaker told us that it will take around 3 years to complete it. However, you can go and take a look at it from outside.
It looks very classy and elegant. The white statue of Buddha is beautiful and the architecture done in the walls are amazing.
Since it is not open yet, you can be at this place for around half an hour.

Metta Buddharam temple in Bodh Gaya is worth visiting. A serene statue of Lord Buddha sits there, with Buddha ina most benevolent face.

This temple is still under construction but its so beautiful that a visit is a must!

Located in Sujata Bypass road, slightly away from the main temples so would recommend taking an e-rickshaw.

As with all temples,no entry fee.

Located nearby is the Karmapa Monastery.

This is a wonderful find whilst wandering around Bodhgaya. It is located on the Sujata bypass road about a twenty minutes walk from the Mahabodhi Temple. What strikes you first is that it gleams in the light. A closer inspection reveals this temple, still under construction, has an outer shell of stainless steel and decorative mosaic using mirrors. The simplicity and lack of colour makes you look closely at the structure and the detail. Roof tiles are pressed stainless steel, the interior is also silver in colour. The main temple floor is wood, the entrance has been elaborately sculpted to represent the flow and eddies of water, surrounding islands of tufted grass. Walking up the concrete flow the stairs are borded by two undulating white dragons with mirror inlay. Situated on a relatively small block of land the space has been well designed to maximise use and create an aesthetic that is different to all around. Well worth a visit.

This is a lovely monument and newly built. The statue of Buddha is white in color and very impressive. This is basically a Thai temple and nearing completion. You do not need to make an exclusive trip to view this monument, but you can cover it along with the rest of the temples in the same area. 20 Minutes is all you need.

I loved everything about this temple-the architecture, the ambience and also the fact it is a bit away from the other monasteries or temples so it is not super crowded. The temple is still incomplete but beautiful as such and well maintained.

Last year(2018), we had chance to visit this pkace by coincidentally. When we arrived, the ceremony of two new precious breast chains proposing to the big marble Budha image in this temple just be finished and it's starting the raining. That's our great chance to touring inside and underground. There are several reserved areas for the Thai Royal family. Really specialty for us.
