It's a place much far from the the centre. Worth to visit. You can do the hiking on the hills which are on backside and find the remains of a few more stupas..really old ones. Recommended to visit.

A place where Gotama Buddha was practising extreme asceticism before his enlightenment. Walking up few hundred feet on a not so steep sloping path, there is a Tibetan Temple. It provide a good view over Budhgaya.

Get away from the bustle of Gaya and the crowds of Bodhgaya and visit the beautiful scenic Dungeswari Hills. A thoroughly enjoyable experience except for the very aggressive motorbike taxi drivers who ferry you up the hill to see the caves.
