A good temple on the way to Mahabodhi Temple. Another temple called Shechen Tennyi Dargyeling is located adjacent to it.

Pretty standard Chinese Temple. In the main worship hall are the standard 3 Buddha statues (past , present and future ). There was a statute dedicated to Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva ( Di Zang Wang Pu Sa) on the outside. The external facade appeared to be still...More

Avoid all these country-specific "temples". They have no historical or heritage importance. Instead they will eat up your precious time, that can be otherwise spent inside the Mahabodhi Temple.

The Chinese temple is on the main road leading to the Mahabodhi temple, so it can not be missed. Like any other Buddhist temple, it houses the Statue of Buddha. The campus is small yet it has an atmosphere of serenity.

There's a temple from each Buddhist country like China, Tibet, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Japan, etc. Each of them have different culture and design

The statue of Buddha in the Chinese temple was brought from China it is at least 200 years old. Typical Chinese architectural style in the way to search of spirituality and knowledge.

Nice Chinese style monastery quite close to the Mahabodhi temple. The murals on the wall are very interesting. Must visit. Monastery closes around 6 so check timings.
