Even though I did not understand the significance of these structures and what they were saying. Felt the importance of the structure by the way the believers were reverential towards it.

A Great Perfected Being walked along this path. The thought of being able to physically trace his footsteps is really staggering. This is just next to the MahaBodhi tree.

These marks are known as the footprints of Buddha while he was doing meditation to attain enlightenment. These marks are in the circumference of the mahabodhi temple preserved with stone Considered as very pious

You won't miss this side 'venue' to the main temple, usually covered in flowers and devotion, a place to support one's sadhana. Beautiful.

Within the Mahabodhi Temple, this is supposedly the spot where Buddha walked up and down in deep contemplation. Excellent place to sit in quiet meditation and/or observe other pilgrims. Vantage point for photo buffs.
