We then checked with the locals and finally made it, only to be disappointed by the fact this was not the best as the entrance was super crowded and there was nothing worth visiting. The temple is rather small and the guest house was the only notable thing here. The place is tucked away from the main centre.

Must visit compound if you visit Bodh Gaya. It's away from the beaten path, but such a beautiful architecture and a living monastery. The monks are simply great. Their friendliness is comforting especially when you are earnest seeker or even a well wisher.
