Great hiking in beautiful woods and river
May 2021 • Friends
Nice soft wide trail in a beautiful rolling woods that hugs a riverbed bluff for a portion, and has two swinging bridge and a covered bridge.
Just a delightful place for a 4 mile hike.
Wish we coulda stayed to play frisbee golf. Next time!
Does charge $6 per car for entry.

Nice woodsy riverfront trails!
May 2020 • Solo
Surprisingly nice park and widest area just off M20 west of Mt Pmeasant. Always drove by and wondered what was in here. Pond, disc golf, and lotsa hiking and biking following a riverbank in a woodsy pretty setting. Even has back country camping. Such a pleasant surprise!
Cost is $10 entrance fee. Could use some maps posted in the woods; got a bit lost my first time through. So make sure you take a nap from the front entrance place.

A mostly fun day
Jul 2019 • Family
We visited while on our vacation, you pay a small fee, $6 in total to enter, and you get a map. You can do multiple things, such as play disc golf, volleyball, canoe, and camping. For our family we just explored the hiking trails, as there are 11 in total, ranging from 0.2 to 2.5 miles each. We ended up doing 4/5 trails in total. Like any forest, the bugs are in full force so make sure you put on a good amount of spray before starting up. Also, bring plenty of water, as while there are a couple of pumps they are rare.

While we overall had a good time and I would recommend, I had to take off one star due to some problems we had on the trails. While there are signs, there are not enough of them in our opinion, we got lost a couple of times, and we have done many hikes before at other national and state parks. They have a few areas that either look like trails that are no longer used and/or used for service reasons, and it’s easy to accidently go on one and then realize after a few minutes you are no longer on the trail and then have to double back.

Quiet and clean
Jul 2018 • Business
This park was quiet, clean and the covered bridge was a great background for taking photos. Small ponds are around. When i went the crowd was minimal. This would also serve well for a family reunion with pavilions close by the ponds.

Needed more time here!
Aug 2018 • Family
I loved this park. We walked to the covers bridge which was about a mile. The trail is well marked and clear. We spent over an hour at the covered bridge clearing taking pictures and enjoying ourselves. The water is so clear you can see to the bottom. We then walked back a different way and went across the suspended bridge closest to the parking area. This was fun! I could have spent more time here and explored more trails. This is a wonderful asset to this community.

Walked here or biked here almost everyday of our 3 week stay. Walked the dog here, I felt extremely safe and they people I encountered on the trail were very friendly. The trails were well marked and so clean. Loved it.

Good for getting outdoors for a bit. Well maintained park with clear paths. Nothing in Mt. Pleasant is very far away.
