Visited Lisbon falls during our trip on Panorama route. It is not far from the road, once there, can buy goods from local sellers.

These are magnificent falls and really worth a visit. The entry cost is neglible. Not to be missed when in the area.

One can see the waterfall from a distance. It is beautiful though. I wished I read all the reviews beforehand and gone to Berlin falls instead. If you are pressed for time, you can skip this one.

Don't let rainy days fool you. I think it was one of the best times to go visit waterfalls as this one. It was an excellent experience. Just wished the local government would invest more on safer railings so tourists could walk all around /over...More

You pay R10 for which they produce functional ablution blocks, some security and clean viewing platforms over Mpumalanga's highest waterfall, one of the highest in Southern Africa. Compared to exploitation elsewhere in South Africa, this is excellent. No unnecessary frills and therefore no exorbitant fee...More

Don't just look for sprinkling water Between and beneath the falls are rock faces that look like an entire troupe of baboons. When viewed like this - quite spectacular, even though only narrow gusts of water. Worth taking a phone video and paying back -...More

To have to pay to see a waterfall with a hawkers market (who simply just harass guests) is ridiculous!

This was one of my favorite places on the Panorama Route! While God’s Window and the Pinnacle Rock were completely covered in fog, Lisbon Falls had absolutely stunning views of the beautiful area around it!!! What an amazing place for pictures and a refreshing walk!...More

Quiet and simple, this is a short visit to view the falls. Some small trails allow access to viewing areas as well as a railed path near the top. A small lapa area with a few craft vendors.

Doesn't seem as crowded with tourists, yet the biggest Falls? Pleasant views down the valley, the fall was good even in the dry time. Area well maintained locals pleasant. Nominal admission charge

There are no gate to the falls, so you will be able to go anytime of the day, but paying between 8:00 and 17:00! In other words, just go there when it best suits you!
