A quaint old house in downtown Mt Clemens dedicated to show what it would be like to live in the late 1800's and early 1900's

The director used to work at Greenfield Village and has taken that experience to the Crocker House. Mt. Clemens has a rich history and they are beautifully preserving and presenting it. The annual events, Christmas Tea, Cemetery Walk, etc. are not to be missed.

We went at Christmas time. It was a highly informative tour of the house, it's history, and those who occupied it through the years.

The Crocker House Museum does not disappoint. The restored house from 1869 is full of furnishings and art from 1869-1922 and the staff is very knowledgeable about the period and the history of this area of the United States.

This place is a hidden gem in Mt. Clemens. If you love history, they do it all. House, furniture, clothing and even era specific food. Monthly events are great. Join their society, you won't regret it!!
