A business associate and I booked an 18 hole round for 10:00 AM 5/12/21 and while the course itself was very enjoyable, the Starter's attitude was completely unacceptable. We were booked to play the Lakes course first and the Woods second. When we arrived, the Starter notified us that the Woods was closed for maintenance and that we'd be playing the Meadows instead, which was not an issue at all. As we started inching toward the Lakes course, he was telling us a story about buying a drink for a professional hockey player in Chicago. Nothing else. After he finished his story, we made our way to the Lakes and had a great round. When we came back to the clubhouse to grab lunch, we asked the Starter where we should go next and he rudely berated us by stating "I was perfectly clear that you were to start on the Meadows and finish on the Lakes and you guys just did your own thing". Mind you, neither of us heard him say this. We briefly stated this and he just continued to tell us how we were wrong and how we completely screwed up the cadence (which there was hardly anyone else on the Lakes course, but we weren't going to argue). After we made our way to the Meadows course, the Starter appeared again and started berating us AGAIN in front of several other people. This man's attitude put a complete damper on the second half of our round and was very unprofessional. Being that this was my first time playing this course, it was such a negative experience that I likely won't be back. It's a shame, as the course itself was in great shape and challenging, albeit the greens are incredibly fast. I don't know if the Starter got us mixed up with another group, but he had every opportunity to correct us when we were moving toward the Lakes course whilst he was telling his unnecessary story about the hockey player, but he didn't. The Meadows course is on a different path in a completely different direction, so I don't know why he wouldn't have raised a concern at the onset and this negative experience could've been avoided altogether. I don't know if the man had a bad day or if he's always like this, but I don't know that I'm willing to waste my time finding out, as there are many great courses in the area where customers are treated courteously. It's a shame, as the course itself would've received a 4 star rating from me and truth be known, that's the only reason it got 2 stars. If the course itself wasn't as fun as it was, this would be a 1 star review. Fix your personnel problem, Mystic Creek.

For the money, they course is excellent. 27 holes where you better be straight or you are in trouble. A few lay-ups required on a few holes so be sure to know where you are going. I found the courses very challenging and in good shape even though like most courses people are afraid to bend over and fix balls marks on the green. Come on folks! Played it 3 times in 2 weeks, Staff very friendly and pretty good hot dog!

Mystic Creek Golf Courses offer a superb golfing experience for any level of golfer. The three courses are very scenic, some challenging holes but all very interesting. For a municipal golf facility, Mystic Creek ranks as one of the best I've seen and I have seen many across the entire country. The staff was courteous, professional and quite helpful. A great snack bar is also available. No reservations in this recommendation. For a public course, it is amazing!

Situated in the middle of historic Camp Dearborn this gem was a fun little outing on Labor Day. Played all 27 holes and we have to say it was magnificent! Great course and a friendly staff. Very reasonably priced too.

I golfed 27 holes and i havent found one flaw in this course. They must really take care of these courses. To all the people complaining... Grow up and stop complaining. Greens are perfect, and all you see is beautiful lines!
