Th dahlias were just coming into bloom when we visited. So many different colors and varieties. Most were labelled. Obviously, a work of love by the volunteers.

I don't know the season for Dahlia's----but it's got to be great---very big with maybe a 6/7 set of tiers in a semi-circle. --But in july 2021 there is nothing to see

This free attraction is near the road with parking on site. Worth a stop to walk around and appreciate the unique variations of Dahlias.

Wow! This place will make you want to put up with all the particulars dahlias require to grow them. So many beautiful flowers on display. You can't walk down each individual row, but it is tiered with paths so you can get a good look, just not at right up close for some of them. They are labeled so you can figure out your faves. It was a very quick stop & look for me 15 minutes.

What a beautiful dahlia garden. It’s a quick stop full of beauty. I loved the larger view, but enjoyed the closeups of the flowers and bees the most! “For the beauty of this earth!”
A stop worth making! Take 5 minutes or 50! Peaceful and beautiful!

Visit our website dahliahill.org to learn more about this unique dahlias-only garden. We just finished digging the clumps that generated from the original 3,000 tubers we planted the third week in May. By the time we divide, wash and label them, it will be closer to 12,000. So next year come and see us at our peak time: August through frost. All 20+ petal configurations are represented on the Hill and you will be amazed at the variety. We are a few blocks away from the more famous Dow Gardens. Take time to see both.

What a display of flowers, every single one is a different variety. A lot of work went into this display and what a beautiful job.

Dahlia Hill is a destination any flower lover should add to their list. The flowers bloom from mid-August through the first hard-frost. The Dahlia Hill Society has a dahlia tuber sale in the Spring, in case you want to become a home dahlia grower.

Dahlias are my favorites and this place is amazing! It's not huge, but it is planted in tiers that go back and forth across the space. Parking is available, but watch out because people drive kind of randomly. Plus, it's free. Many kinds of dahlias, and only dahlias. Obviously, go when they are at peak bloom when we did. But, also pay attention to the light if you take photos. It was too sunny when we went, so our photos were too bright, but we loved it anyway. I can't wait to go back!

Now is just the planting time for dahlias. Dahlia Hill has an annual sale of tubers. The manager was well informed, friendly and helpful!
