The Honolulu House is a gem in the quaint town of Marshall and completely worth visiting. We stopped in just before closing but the historian made time to give us a thorough and interesting tour. We loved viewing the one of a kind artwork throughout the home and learning about it's historical significance to Marshall and the state of Michigan.... More

Tour guide wasn't the friendliest. The house is very interesting, great history of the man who built the house and why. $5 fee. It appears they don't let people walk around, must be on tour.

The beautiful workmanship of this home is amazing! It was built by Abner Pratt a former chief justice of the Michigan Supreme Court and U.S. Consul to the Sandwich Island which is Hawaii today. The docent does a wonderful job guiding you through the history of the Honolulu House.

You've never seen anything like this! Once the home to the Ambassador to the Sandwich Islands, it now has been lovingly restored as the main building for the Marshall Historical Society.

If you like history & architecture this is is great place to visit. Absolutely amazing interior walls & ceilings painted so intricately. I have taken the tour several times with my children's school trips & the tour guides are always very knowledgeable.

Very neat building that does not fit the area but creates an abstract glowing feeling that will brighten up even the dullest of days.

An interesting place with a very knowledgeable tour guide. If you are into architectural structure, this would be a very good place for you to visit. The general history of the place would also prove to be of interest.
