My husband marched in the Alumni Band for Homecoming Weekend, and the kids and I had a blast watching him and the band in the Superior Dome! It was very clean and well-lit inside. It would have been nice to have someone around to tell...More

Interesting wooden structure. You can walk the perimeter, several people were enjoying the walking area. It was a great way to get out of the summer heat for awhile. There are some historic displays on your way around and a wall of fame covered in...More

The past is a good education for the mind and body. As we were walking up and down the streets from the docks to the original buildings. Even I was impressed, thinking about what how they must of had everything harder then we had 170...More

The dome is frequently open for walking. Ten trips around equals three miles. The only negative is the unavailability when there are special events, on Sundays, and between fall and spring semester.

Nice five acre facility open for walking or running through a co-op arrangement with three major entities. Great sporting venue for our climate for football, winter softball and lacrosse or soccer. Also hosts many community events.

This event always draws a huge crowd- met people from Minnesota that come to this every year to do their Xmas shopping. Wonderful vendors and great venue except for two issues that I've mentioned for years- no coat check area, not everyone want to lug...More

Home of NMU football, the dome is well worth visiting at least once. An impressive structure. Check it out if you're in town.

We watched our son play football here last fall and looking forward to doing it again in a couple of weeks. The stadium is large but the wood makes it feel cozy creating a unique stadium experience.

Its a unique place to see and walk around for an hour. If you are lucky enough to be in town when NMU has a home game make sure to go. Tickets are cheap and there is lots of seating.

We were visiting the NMU Foundation with my mom, a NMU Alum, and decided to make a stop at the dome. An architectural feat! Dome is made of wood, and it is quite spectacular to look up and see the trusses and cat walks. AstroTurf...More

It's climate controlled. We walked laps this July when it was 89 outside with high humidity and it was very comfortable inside the dome.
