LST is a gem. It is an volunteer nonprofit that is run by many committed residents of Marquette. Local talent (and there is plenty) provides for singers, actors, actresses, and dancers. It is located in a functioning boat house that has very comfortable seating, is air conditioned, and is located on the shore of Lake Superior. It is a lovely place.

Great spot to take in a show. The cast was amazing!!! We were blown away by the service, the location (unique, rustic boathouse) and the talent. A must do during a summer visit to Marquette!!!

The singing, the dancing, the actors, the comedy, the transitions from one scene to the next. Superb in every way, far exceeding anything you might expect!. The working boathouse is right on Lake Superior with a million dollar lobby view! Air conditioned with auditorium comfy seating, professional lights and sound - wow! Something else that also comes through is the joy in these performances. The historical musicals are incredible as are other shows. The actors look like they are having one helluva good time. As a result, the audience does, too. That’s theater at its best.

I was amazed to find this small theatre inside of a boathouse. During the summer a talented group of local actors use this boathouse to put on varying productions. Although the venue is rustic, it in no way detracts from the excellent theatre productions. We saw "The Producers" and enjoyed every minute. Having the bathrooms in a facility outside is not a deterrent to come here! There is plenty of parking nearby and wheelchair accessibility is provided. A wonderful place to spend an evening.
