We booked this sunset cruise on the spur when Shepler’s cancelled our lighthouse cruise at the last minute. The staff were so kind and helpful. The cruise was absolutely beautiful! The crew made sure every person was able to enjoy the sunset from every angle.
I would HIGHLY recommend this cruise! (And buy a cool Ugly Anne sweatshirt)

For an unforgettable tour of the Straits of Mackinac and the Mackinac Bridge, take this tour. Ideally the sunset tour would be magnificent on the water, but the daytime tours are equally enjoyable. The crew gives interesting information about the history of both the straits and bridge construction. And the time of the tour is perfect for families - about 1 ¼ hours so kids don't get restless but there is still plenty of time to simply look at the beauty of this wonder in the north woods and lakes.

This tour was great! The only down side, with so many people it can be crowded, and if you're not on of the 1st in line, you get stick on the inside seats, with hands, cameras and heads (people) in your shot sometimes. That said, if you're careful and take multiple shots you'll get something good.

The employees were great, the gentleman serving drinks, and answering questions was very knowledgeable. A people person, loved to tell you about different ships, etc.

The views of the bridge are 2nd to none. Simply amazing. We took the sunset cruise, the view, and shots with the bridge in the background were simply amazing. Whether you're a Mackinac Bridge lover, just want great views on the water, I can't recommend them enough!

If you are looking to spend a relaxing time in the lap of nature then this cruise is perfect for you. The boat takes you under the Mackinac bridge and you get spectacular views of the sunset. Our host Ben was really knowledgeable about the bridge. You have beverages available on board and the deck is situated next to a happening restaurant called Hook. Would recommend booking the tickets online if you don't want to stand at the ticket window in the aftrenoon.

The captain is skilled in positioning the boat so everyone gets a great view of the bridge and the sunset. He positioned us so everyone can experience the awe-inspiring enormity of the bridge, and stayed still until the sunset was complete. We were sitting on the side and we were disappointed that we couldn't hear anything the crewman was explaining to the people in the back of the boat. A speaker would be really helpful.

My husband and I went to the sunset cruise for a date night during our vacation. It was beautiful! Highly recommend it! We had plenty of time to take all the pictures. It wasn't the best sunset, but we did have some beautiful views. The captain was sure to go back around a few times to give everyone a chance to see the sunset while it was there. Going under the bridge is surreal, it's massive! The staff was very friendly, professional, and informative. Park at The Hook restaurant, walk under the restaurant, and you're there!

Ugly Anne holds a special place for my Husband and I. We were married on her in 2019 by Captain Chris West and we returned this year for our first anniversary for a sunset cruise. We can't rave enough a out how awesome the Captain and Crew are. We look forward to many more anniversaries aboard the Ugly Anne!

Normally they offer sunset cruises and history cruises. When we inquired, in October, they said they combined into one since sunset was so close to cruise time, but there wasn’t much history, which was our reason for going. That was a little disappointing. The boat ride under the bridge was neat and the sunset was beautiful but the history tour was what we really wanted.

We had a great time on our sunset cruise. It was simple to book on line, the two ladies in the ticket office were very friendly, the cruise left on time and the boat was clean. The captain made several passes under the bridge and did a great job with narration. Unfortunately it was cloudy when we went but the weather was pleasant and we did get to see some color. Our ride was supposed to last an hour but we were closer to an hour and a half. I would recommend this cruise.

Our family, including grand-kids took a Friday evening sunset cruise. It was an immensely fun ride on the gentle roll of the Straits. We saw perspectives of the Bridge you can only see from the water! Everyone enjoyed the views and the simplicity of the Ugly Anne! The crew was knowledgeable and friendly. If you are looking for a unique experience...take a ride on the Ugly Anne, Mackinac City...I highly recommend this outfit!
