Shows at Jack Pine Lumberjack Shows are approximately an hour long, delivered in a competition format, in which the audience is divided up into two rival logging camps, each camp cheering for their lumberjack. - Chad MBrunswick, Georgia14 contributionsGreat family showWas a great family show lasted 90 minutes. Some of the humor was a little dull but it’s a lumberjack show after all. Sit at the top and you have a backrest bleacher seats they rent cushions if you want.Visited May 2024Traveled with familyWritten May 24, 2024
- JoAnn PClaremont, California1 contributionWonderful, not to be missed show!We are three senior citizen women who thoroughly enjoyed the show! The audience was filled with people from 1 to 80 years old. Everyone was laughing and having a great time! Since we had no transportation to get there, Dan actually sent lumberjack Danny to pick us up! If that’s not customer service I don’t know what is! This is a must show and they have log rolling camps for young kids during the summer.Visited June 2024Traveled with friendsWritten June 8, 2024
- Wanderlust_MITreasure Island, Florida40 contributionsGreat family outing!Been vacationing with my in-laws family in Cheboygan for 20 years and just came to a show with our 4 kids for the first time this summer. My 7 and 9 year old sons enjoyed it the most. Host and lumberjacks were funny and entertaining and it was a great family outing!Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 13, 2024
- Tim MLudington, Michigan33 contributionsReally is fun for all ages! After driving past the venue many times over the years decided to take it in this time. Glad we did. The MC is entertaining and fun, keeping the crowd on their toes with wit and some friendly competition. The lumberjacks are personable and good at the events. It really does build some excitement as they go through the lumberjack events, and you learn some history along the way. They pay special attention to the kids in the audience. At our show the kids were laughing & giggling at all the pranks & jokes. Be sure to buy one of the chainsaw wood carved bears at intermission if you want one - they sell out. The lumberjacks will sign them after the show. The description on the website covers the rest of the info accurately. You can buy tickets there, but many local hotels & campsites have discounted tickets. The bleachers are covered, so the show goes on rain or shine. I assure you, the lumberjacks will get wet before the show is over whether it rains or not!Visited August 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten August 21, 2024
- Yolonda B1 contributionLoads of fun with LumberjacksExcellent show for any age. Lots of humor and great performers. I will see that show every time I am in the city. Dakota was my favorite and he was very helpful when it came to my purchases. Love that they also sign what you purchase. Affordable prices for the whole family ❤️. Don’t miss out on this show😊Visited September 2024Traveled with familyWritten September 8, 2024

Do check for show times as they can vary. Note: This is obviously not open in the winter. (We very seldom give a 5!!)Visited September 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten September 25, 2024

Our first time visiting Michigan. Took in this show because we had never seen lumberjacks. The show was a competition between 2 very skilled lumberjacks and the audience was divided into two teams. Lots of cheering and clapping and booing encouraged, good natured joking between the MC and the competitors. Good clean family fun. Very child friendly. We enjoyed this show and would definitely recommend it.

We had driven by a couple of times and when searching for things in the area it popped up with great reviews. We called to see if our dog could come since he is traveling with us and can't be left alone and they said it was fine! We purchased tickets online and arrived a half hour early so we could get a good spot for our dog, Rowdy. They had us sit at the end of the bleachers, next to the grass and it worked out well. We could see the show and so could he. It was quite entertaining and actually, informative too! Lasted a little under 2 hours and we felt it was well worth the money. Great for all ages!

The show is two talented lumberjacks competing with their own skills to win the night. It is actual competition and not staged, either could win on any night. The MC helps keep it fun with narration and jokes. They keep your attention with both competitive drama and humor the whole show. I HIGHLY recommend this.

Wow! What talent on display with these lumberjacks. It was my first time ever seeing a show like this and it was not only entertaining but inspiring for the children in the audience. During the show, one of the lumberjacks used a chain saw to "make" a rabbit, but it actually turned into a tiny chair that they gave away to a little girl. The humor and cheering on your "team" made it really fun. One of my favorites was seeing the log rolling, and the skill and concentration needed. Could hardly believe how fast they shimmed up the 45 foot pole and landed back down. A special thanks to Katie in the front office for going above her duties to make my sister's birthday extra special! Dan did a wonderful job in keeping the show going and made our evening one to remember. Put this on your "to see" list!

These guys do a great job of entertaining kids! This is not a real competition there are two jacks and they do an awesome job. Kids enjoy yelling and cheering and adults have a great time watching as well. If you are in the area it is worth your time for sure!

We loved this show, we saw it 7 years ago and we still enjoyed it. We ended up as a fluke with the exact same lumberjacks that we had 7 years ago. It is entertaining and my teens even enjoyed watching it. It is a must see. I love that all ages can enjoy the show.

Our extended family of 9 (5 adults and 4 kids, ages 15, 9, 8, 5) really enjoyed the show - the kids, especially. The lumberjacks did an amazing job and the MC was very entertaining. It was terrific that they involved the audience. My granddaughter is hoping we can make a return trip. Thank you for a great outing!

I found this event by Internet search. The reviews were all positive, so I bought tix for me and my 14-year old granddaughter. Her lack of expression when I mentioned the show and her hoping we had somehow missed the performance were clues she wasn't very enthusiastic about it. No matter, I was, so off we went. And we both thoroughly enjoyed the show. She even asked me to give her the show details so she could tell her folks and make reservations for next year. It was great - fun, engaging and informative.

Reserved our tickets online, and they greeted us with smiles at the entrance. Funny and entertaining show, complete with audience competition throughout (each half of the audience get's their own lumberjack to cheer for). Our kids were visiting from Phoenix, and thought the show was so much fun.

I see others have supplied the address but putting the name in the GPS took us right to the parking lot. There was a big sign right on the roadside as well. You can't see the stage area from the front. BTW, there was a ticket price break getting the tickets online at the time we went.

Do the shows ever sell out such that it's advisable to buy tickets in advance? Is there any advantage to buying tickets in advance (i.e., reserved seating)? We are definitely going to go, but we're just not sure which show yet (but we don't want to miss out on tickets if the shows sell out).
Written May 5, 2018
We were able to walk up that night and buy our tickets. There was still room for more people in the audience. Hope that helps!
