The presenters were full of information on the period, dressed in period clothing. There is a musket firing, a cannon firing, tours, presentations, an actual excavation, and many artifacts on exhibit. You will be amazed if you love history.

Really well done. The staff really tries hard to make things historically correct. You can move through quickly or spend a lot of time learning. Individual choices easily made.

I've been here quite a few times in my life. The last visit was for Halloween, which was more enjoyable than expected. I was sad to see how much of the fort was already closed down, but it was still a nice "spooky" night.

Fort Michilimackinac is a great experience for the history buff as well as children. The actors were all in character and were very knowledgeable in the subject matter. I asked about the bread they were making, and about the cooked bread. A British redcoat came...More

This is a great place to spend the afternoon. My kids were a bit hesitant at first but they ended up loving it. Everything from cannon firings to costumed period guides, it was a great experience. I would highly recommend this place.

We also did the $75 family pass and for us the option worked great as we stayed over several days and could take in different sites throughout our stay.
