Resonable price when comparing with other area attractions, even for zip line. Loved the presentation about lumbering and saw mill. Teen loved the zip line. Lots of shady areas with benches. Clean convenient rest rooms. Fun and informative!

Didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. The lumber mill exhibit is very informative and interesting. Mr Ed is very good at telling the Campbell story and demonstrating the workings of the mill. We all did the zipline/rope bridge/ tower climb and it was fun. However we didn't do the rock climb wall but it looked fun. The... More

Fun to see the mill actually run. The staff was very helpful. We saw a snake hunting, zip lined, explored a little. Go for the mill, look at the animals (lots of stuffed ones), and make sure to read how it came about. Really puts into perspective how we settled the area.

We didn't know what to expect fully upon arrival to the park. Our trip was going to allow us to sample a lot of activities, but not spend hours at them so we could get a lot of touring in during our trip. Most of the girls were mainly excited to attend because they wanted to zip line. One girl... More

Expecting a lot of activities for the kids I was disappointed that the only real activity is a combo package that costs additional once you are inside.

The initial fee gets you access to an area where you can hike trails, visit old buildings related to the sawmill and watch interactive presentations. The presentation we saw was all about the history of the logging process. I thought my kids would find it boring but all of them(5,8,12) found it interesting. It is interesting for adults too. For... Took my two teenage daughters who were only interested in the zip line and rock climbing wall. They were forced into a couple of history lessons first as we examined a working water powered saw mill and then from the guide as he toured us through the site on our way to zip line. We had all zipped before so... More

A re-creation of an old sawmill site from colonial times. Great place to take the kids, and to learn some more Michigan history. Can't add more to the great reviews already posted. Some nice hands on activities for the kids, especially their being called on as pit men in the manual board making demonstration. The guy running this and the... More

I loved this place! The saw mill demonstration by "Mr. Ed" was both entertaining and educational. There are a few other buildings, as well as a tower with a panoramic view of Lake Huron. There was a rock climbing activity on the side of it, but I am not sure if it cost extra. There is zip lining which does... More
