This is a wonderful attraction and a good learning experience for all ages. There is a tower you can look over and you can see the bridge and other areas that were great for picture taking. There is a lot of history in this area and it is nice to learn new things and staff are there to help you... More

Wow....what an education at Mill Creek about the 1700's and 1800's. The staff is very knowledgeable and very informative. Be sure to try the zip line. It's a ton of fun.

Visitor center is top notch and includes numerous displays on the history, flora, and fauna of the area as well as a repeating 15 minute video in the theater. The main attraction is a working (and historically accurate) reconstruction of a 1780s lumber mill. The live demonstrations (the mill and the demonstration of how they prepped logs prior to the... Have driven past many times but first time visiting and am very glad we did. The mill presentation was impressive. First zip line for my family and they enjoyed the ride.

The best nature trails. Maps along the way so you won't get lost. They recreated the old mill and have demonstrations of how things worked back in the day. Definitely a learning experience. They also have a zip line and rock climb.

One of the primary attractions here is seeing a powerful creek used for cutting lumber in one of the oldest industrial sites on the Upper Great Lakes. This attraction has also added a zip line to get a birds eye view of the treetops, but hikers can also walk through the park and enjoy Michigan's natural beauty.

Yes, there are fees, but well worth it. $8 for adults and additional $8 to add zip line, climbing wall and bridge walk). Working saw mill with almost an hour demonstration ... We had Mr. Ed and he was excellent. History of this mill and the area very well told and a great sense of humor and patience with kids... More

Unfortunately the management has cut back operations so much that this attraction is rendered useless. The Visitor Center was closed, there was not film, there are no docents... everything you read in the AAA travel book is long gone.... no bird sanctuary... just plain sad...

What a great learning lesson...the saw mill pit lecture and operation of the mill was beyond awesome. Definitely stay for the demo. Oh! I completed some bucket list things....rock climbing and biplane. I'm 64 yrs old...and all I can say is, "Whew!" It was a blast. Hiking the trails were awesome...Plan the whole day if you love to stay, view,... More
