Mill Creek is a unique attraction. It is one of the Mackinac State Historic Park group. On the premises you can view a sawmill which is operated the way it was in days gone-by. There are also numerous hiking trails, a zip line, a climbing wall, an observation deck, and an excellent gift shop. If you are looking for something... More

Great place with so much to do. The forestry and sawmill history comes to life. Fantastic and engaging docent teaching and working the mill. Many hiking trails, very well marked and mapped. Easy trails for novice or limited ability hikers. Nice history movie and exhibits. Good restroom facilities. Friendly staff. Nice little store. Very limited concessions, would not plan to... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the activities - even the older folks did the zip line!! It was terrific! And the working sawmill was fantastic! It's one thing to see the machinery, but to see it in action was awesome! Then we took a stroll down several of the well kept hiking trails. The staff are friendly and knowledgable and made our... I am a history geek. So I always enjoy historical sites. But Historic Mill Creek has more than history for those in your family who aren't into history so much. My husband and I visited here with our teen-aged son. We all enjoyed going on the Adventure Tour, which does cost extra, which offered a climbing wall (that has great... More

Been their 2 years in a row. Clean place that is packed with history lessons and a little fun. My kids like the zip line and cable bridge. Older kids probably will not enjoy it as much.

It was a pleasant surprise , beautiful place and they have shows where they explain about the history of the place. The guy at the sawmill has great information and very interesting to watch .You can also do camping, biking and hiking trails in the... We spent a few hours, got tons of great pictures! Took time to listened to Mr Ed, he was fun. The show was very interesting and informative, lots of history. Took a walk through the old Mill and enjoyed the scenery. Nice place to vist with the family.

We have visited Mill Creek Discovery Park several times. This time we spent our time walking an easy hiking trail. Actually, there are several trails available. We combined two for our walk. The sawmill has great information and very interesting to watch. There was an Adventure Tour available, in which we were not interested, but many in the park chose... More

We spent a couple hours here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The gentleman doing the sawmill presentation, "Mr. Ed", was excellent! I'm not usually one for these types of presentations, but it was a good one. Allow about 45 minutes if you plan to attend. We purchased the Adventure Tour package. To some it may seem pricey, but other places charge... More

This place was pretty cool. Even my 15year son said afterwards, "that was way better than I thought it would be". We hiked trails, rode the zip line, watched the woodsaw mill deomsonstration..... Just a nice, relaxing day.
