I don’t know if we were just there on a bad day or what. The manager Ruth needs to take sometime and decide if she wants to be in a tourist business. She is flat out rude to people. Please take a class in customer service before next season. It is honestly incredible that you she still has a job there. The price was a little high considering what was in there and their “educational room” is extremely out dated. The whole place needs to be upgraded. We will wait a couple years before spending $50 to be treated like that again for a mediocre exhibit.

We really enjoyed this place. Sadly many of their species were not here due to inability to order from COVID but we still enjoyed. Would have been nice to have staff in the butterfly room to answer questions.

They didn't have a lot of butterflies due to import issues from other countries during the pandemic, but what they did have was nice to see. Very relaxing. We especially enjoyed the reptiles.

The entrance fee is too high considering the small collection of butterflies ( and other insects) they have. Could put more educational videos or posters for educational purposes.

Usually a must stop for my family every time to the island but we won’t be returning anytime soon. We found out this year that one of the owners past away last year and it is evident that the customer service has definitely going away as well. The manager gave a speech about bees but was very rude to my 6 year old son who was just asking questions. When we left he asked why does she talk to people like they are dumb. The manager, Ruth, also yelled at my nephew for asking to take one of the animals out, which they have done often in the past for us. Hopefully the owner get new management. I understand that this year has been a difficult one but you can’t be rude to kids, this experience is supposed to be for them.
