We all loved our carriage tour! The first half was with carriage driver Sam. He was entertaining while very knowledgeable. He took great care with his team of horses “Randy and Marshall”. We all learned so much! The second half was with carriage driver Maggie....More

After arriving on the ferry you need to go to the Carriage Tours office to book a tour time which had not been explained at our hotel where the tour tickets were purchased. Mike and all the staff were pleasant, helpful and kind when we...More

Save yourself some walking and enjoy a carriage or shuttle ride. The drivers are all very good at describing the local area, good jokes, fun stories, even some singing! Very well run and horses seem to get very good care; fun to see them switch...More

Even if you buy tickets online, it doesn’t guarantee you a spot so get to the booth early to get a time for your carriage ride or you’ll have to wait a long time. Other than that, we really enjoyed this tour. You start out...More

You must go on Carriage rides. The Carriage drivers are very informative and full of fun. They are attentive to the passengers and the needs of the horses.

A carriage tour is a great way to see the island and learn about the history and current state but one of our tour guides was quite arrogant and just not engaging. He told stories about himself instead of the island and just wasn't fun....More

Comfy horse drawn wagon with and expert tour guide. The guide was hilarious and still got the information across to us. Guaranteed good time. Caveat: hot weather may enhance the transportation associated aroma!

I think you have to start down town but it's an easy walk or take the taxi. You can be dropped at the Grand at the end of the tour.
