Boat ride to Island was very nice. The grandkids really enjoyed the ride. We sat on top deck and they really enjoyed. Time your ride back from Island so you don’t get last trip. It can get crowded. Also bring jacket for cool evening trip.

The ferry provides great transportation to and from the island. The employees are very friendly and helpful. The ferries are comfortable with lots of windows. Very easy and convenient way on and off Mackinac Island.

We took the ferry over in October. Depending on where you sit, it can be very cold. Reasonable price. The ferry gave us a different vantage point of views of the island and the Grand Hotel.

From the time we arrived, purchased tickets, parked in secure overnight parking, and return was flawless. Personal was kind, helpful with those who needed special assistance, professional, and patient. Thanks for a food trip.

Star Line is now the major carrier to Mackinac Island, and provides excellent service. They have a large fleet of ferry boats that run on time, and they handle your luggage very well
