While at the State Park, you need to hike out to the light house. It is an impressive structure of days gone by when big ships plowed through this area regularly.

This lighthouse is a long hike through sand and stone to get to but if you want a beautiful view, well worth it. Located in the State Park, you have to bike or walk to get there. There is alot of history along the way...More

My kids LOVE walking out to the lighthouse and admiring the views of Lake Michigan. Be careful of the waves as they can make the path a little slick!

To get to this you have to take a 2 mile hike. Definitely go via the beach. The trail is uninspired at best. The day was perfect and the lighthouse is beautiful. It was a wonderful visit.

You need a state park pass to get into the park where the lighthouse is at.
