One of many that I got to check off my list. Loved it! Got some history while there. Not a bad walk to the light. It's in a state park.

This was voted the 3rd best state park in the country. We drove along the front which is extensive right along Lake Michigan. Unfortunately, there was no sunset that night due to heavy clouds. State Parks cost $9 per car but you don’t have to even enter this one to enjoy the fabulous views. A little closer to town you can also watch for the S S Badger ferry ship to come in.

Hiked the skyline trail and the ridge trail. So many interesting things to see on the trails. Foundations of Camp Lucy-Mac buildings are so interesting. Beach is beautiful. One of the nicest beach bathhouses in all of the Michigan State Parks.
