We went here yesterday and found out the buildings are not open for touring until June. We could only look at the outside. Very disappointing. Trip Advisor indicated otherwise - said open from 8 to 5. Should be more specific of what is open.

Loved the property, accept the gravel road running through it was more like a boulder road. Gravel was so large you could twist your ankle on them if you were not careful. Forget trying to push a baby carriage, a walker, or a wheel chair!

Be sure to bring your money. Cost $5 just to park and then $12 per person to go into the festival. Not worth the money to see some cloggers and pay for overpriced food. It's why they don't post prices on their website I'll bet....More

This park hosts the Highland Games each year. It is the perfect place to view the mass bands marching in the field. The buildings are very nicely maintained. Lots of space to have caber toss, wee barns and dog agility displays.

A blast from the past. I enjoy the historic homes, church and enjoy the deer. There are garden plots for rent.

Had a lovely experience this summer with tea under a tent in the rear garden. We also did a self tour of the mansion that was very informative. The rubber duckie raffle was unique and the food was tasty.

A true gem of historical preservation of Livonia history. This small but easily accessible park displays buildings open to the public. Large variety from homes, a church and store complete the park like setting. Rental is available for church weddings, receptions and various other occasions....More

Sorry I missed your Q! By now you have found that there are lots of trees at Greenmead. I always take a golf umbrella to Highland games, though. It is Michigan, after all!
