My friend likes this shopping mall. I think it is ok. I don’t like that it’s pretty small so there is not so many shops to browse around in. They have a Victoria secret shop which I liked.
I must say I rather go to twelve oaks in Novi.

This is definitely not a huge mall. But it's also not too small. It's just right.
It has your usual stores like Bath & Body Works, Hallmark, etc. But also some stores you don't see everywhere.
It only has two anchor stores; Von Maur and Carson's. However Carson's is closing. No mention yet of when or if someone else will take over that spot. (As of July 2018.)
There is a food court but most of those restaurants are closed. However there are others scattered in the mall. A few of them are Olga's, a coney island, California Pizza Kitchen, Sweet Lorraine's, and Bar Louie.

The anchor stores are Von Mahr and Carson’s. Carson’s is hit or miss. Sales can be great, but sometimes I can’t find a thing I like. Jewelry section is good with affordable prices and shoes offer lots of choices, if you can find someone to wait on you.
Von Mahr is more upscale, reflecting this mall’s original feel. Sales are good and clothes are different than most other stores.
Some of the other stores, Chico’s and Christopher Banks are nice but other stores offer less unusual choices found everywhere.
It’s a great mall to walk in and there are a few restaurants. The food court is mostly closed.
Stores seem to come and go here which is too bad. It’s a nice mall in a good location.

This place is basically the Florida of Malls in Michigan, I'm surprised everyone's not riding around on their scooters. Nothing but old mall walkers. But that's not why I'm giving it 3 stars. You can't even enjoy shopping at this place because of all these mall walkers listening to music full blast on their phone holsters. It's a public space and these people have no respect or consideration for others. My fiancé and I were just walking around looking at places to go into and this guy suddenly came upon us irritated and just said, "I don't know which direction you're going" loudly and annoyed then hurriedly walked around us as though we were in HIS way. We weren't blocking him, there's a huge walkway. Didn't even see the guy, don't care that he's speed walking, there's no need to be rude about it like we inconvenienced him for being in his way. And of course he was also one of the people listening to his music full blast! It's like these people live under a rock and have never heard of consideration or earbuds. It was quite the frustrating experience and I will not be coming back. The crystal shop there, forgot the name of the place, was lovely, however.

This small mall still meets the basic criteria of safe, clean, bright and friendly. There are upscale bright spots and a food court that has never worked. No food court works. They always smell like a variation of pine- sol.
However, there are a variety of restaurants. My favorite is Sweet Lorraine's in the attached Marriott. There is a Bar Louie across from the former and always busyMax and Erma's, now empty. The turnover in some of these stores is puzzling. Coldwater Creek is also gone. But thankfully my favorite anchor store with terrific customer service , Von Maur remains . Think Jacobsons without the snob.
There is a lovely flavored olive oil shop next to some new teen stores. The Laurel Park Mall is easy in and out , good for a stroll , window perusal , shopping and and Teavanna testing but it's not a heavy duty all day mall.
It's a great "attached to hotel "small mall for walkers and for nearby hotel guests and suburban customers.
As long as it retains Von Maur it can be considered a little "easy access to freeway "gem. Von Maur will wrap and send for free their customers gift purchases as part of their customer service. Their hats include Kentucky Derby delights and a high quality shoe Dept often with excellent prices.

This mall is rather small and it's currently under construction. For business men who are staying in the hotels around the mall, it's great that the beanery is being located in this mall. It's a pity that Wallgree is being situated at the other side of a very busy road. If you forget something it is almost suicide to cross that street, walking

The only reason I usually ever have to visit this mall is for Hallmark and that's about it. Not many stores that catch my interest anymore.

This mall is small and boring. Not really much to it. Nothing impressive. Your better off going to any other mall in the area.

Wow is all I have say. I talked to a girl Jillian at the handsome department and because of her I will no longer purchase from there. She was sarcastic and gave dirty looks was clearly saying bad things about me because I returned something. I use there makeup and our pleased with it. I wanted to try their skincare and because it was on sale I purchased it. The serum had a powerful perfume smell so I returned it next day cause it gave me a horrible migraine. I same day went critique counter and dior to see about their products because I have the right. This girl from anyone continued to grim me down and talk..then I saw her again today cause I was purchasing makeup from dior and the lady helping me said she heard about me returning income and as I looked over Jillian was pointing me out and talking again giving bad looks. So I told the manager..she looked angry. You know what my skin is changing with age and products at at place like that are extremely expensive it should be ok to not like something or talk to other representatives to see what's out there. That was horrible I have a 200 gift card to Carson's and I don't even want to go back now. A lot of the woman at different counters all talk and I was very uncomfortable. Very unprofessional. I am very upset. I don't get out much cause I have 3 kids and am very busy I wanted to do something nice for myself and this is what happens. I hope the girls acting like that get a talking to other possibly fired for acting like that.

Great mall. Love the Sanders Hot Fudge store. Visited it several times when I came home for Christmas. Good Deals.
