New places opening up, and some unique shops to visit. While there is certainly room for improvement--maybe a couple more up and coming restaurants--this area provides a kind of cool connection to the city. Visit--its a couple streets of focus--nice change of pace.

We were going to go but the entry fee was $22.00 per person so we decided to stay at a bar called Zoobies where the pizza was very good.

The area is surrounded by run down homes making it an unpleasant entry with you car doors LOCKED. You do not feel safe there.

We almost missed this little gem in Lansing. Well worth a wander if you're in the area but don't miss out on the small (non-chain) restaurants in this area.

Everything you see in Old Town Lansing is new again. The galleries, the quaint shoppers, the restaurants...what a wonderful treat. The annual blues festival is a must do as is the October fest event...plan on spending half a day. Breakfast at the Old Town Diner, lunch at Pablo's ( or Meat) if you do not Mex... Art galleries etc. Great... More

I lived in old town for five years and absolutely loved it. I could walk to really cool shops and restaurants. People are friendly and the quality of food, drinks, and shopping is the best in Lansing.

A short walk down the old railroad tracks, or a walk, jog or bike ride down the River Trail will bring you to old town. While in old town there are many small and unique shops to check out, and some great places to eat! The best Thai food in Lansing can be found in Old Town....don't miss that if... More

There was nothing that exciting about Old Town, Lansing. I liked Birmingham better. It has some nice buildings and shops. Music was playing from the street lamps, which was a unique touch. There is a pretty river that is underutilized, but the conference center was huge and excellent and so was the market.
