Aurora Cellars looks like a nice place but they have very little care for their customers. A couple friend of mine needed to cancel their wedding due to the Covid situation and were given NONE of their 10,000 dollar deposit. During this time of financial hardship for many, Aurora Cellars chose to compound the misery of a couple who had to cancel their wedding instead of being more understanding, showing kindness and gaining appreciation of their customers. DO NOT BOOK if you ever expect to see your money again. I would never recommend this venue to anyone!

Aurora you've made my top three (not an easy status to attain), and we've been to dozens of Michigan wineries. Wife and I loved every wine we tasted. BEST Michigan Pinot Noir I've tasted. Bought it.
They have one amazing red blend too. Should've bought that.
Wife loved the Vignoles and Serata Demi Sec.
Aurora you're smacking it clear out of the park.

We visited on a Monday so it was not crowded. We received a free tasting card from Good Harbor Vineyards, so we stopped here. Bonnie was very nice and served us our samples. We didn't care much for the wine or cider, so we tipped her and moved on.

Not sure how these 5 stars got on here maybe a promotional deal but average wine at best but the service was the main reason this deserves 1star. Never have I met a more arrogant, displeasing owner. Sad to see considering the beautiful location in the hands of a greedy human being.

With the number of wineries in the area you would think they would at least provide a more competitive tasting. The 5 pours amounted to less that one glass. It was not worth the money.

We came here with family and everyone was friendly, physically distanced, good wine, and nice atmosphere. Would return.

Several times during each summer Aurora Cellars presents an outdoor musical program on their lawn and patio. They provide chairs and some blankets and it is a nice way to spend a few afternoon and evening hours.

Beautiful ground and wedding site. Picture beautiful Spring day with aroma of white wisteria. Family & friends were gathered centered to a large, old weeping willow, lying beside a pond, toads croaking, ducks quacking & minister speaking. All between two vineyard fields. Such a calming environment. Main house at one end, dinner tent at opposite. Brides party stayed in house. We stained in adjacent cottage, just completely remodeled. Clean, bright and coffee in cupboard. Vineyards behind and across the street. Beautiful. Off 204 with 5 minute drive to Suttons Bay & 10 minutes to Leland. Perfect summer rental. Loved it.

Our daughter got married at Aurora Cellars in July 2017. We had high expectations for the wedding, and they were exceeded. Beautiful, low key environment, with great view of winery and surrounding area. Cool farmhouse where the brides stayed, which was a great base of operations for pictures and rehearsal. The altar was great with great tree and pond in background. The "no mosquito" guarantee was met in full. Wine was well received. Kim Bunbury did a great job in helping us plan and execute the event. Music had to stop promptly at 11 pm, as the sound was bouncing over the hills to the peaceful surrounding area! I actually don't like weddings that much, but I loved this one. Not as high profile as some other venues in area, but I would give Aurora Cellars a good look. We loved it.
