Impressive little park

Whether it is camping or just a day at the park- its a very nice and enjoyable place. Great during the summer for people who just need to get away for a minute.

The Henderson Castle is a historic building, sitting high on a hill overlooking Kalamazoo, Michigan. The staff were very attentive and courteous. The rooms, however, were not completely up to par, clean but in need of serious detailing. I'd recommend this as a historic visit rather than a first class bed and breakfast.

We've utilized Markin Glen for family gatherings, picnics, taking the kids fishing, swimming, and trail walking, and it's a great park for all of these activities. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and they do a great job keeping the park safe and clean. The swimming area is great for both little and big kids. We've not camped here, but... More

This is a county park with full hook up! Very clean and the park employees are always driving around making sure everything was ok. You can fish on the lake or take a walk or bike ride on the paved path. Would defiantly stay again.

A very nice day park, nice beach on a very small lake. Lots of campsites but doesn't provide a back to nature experience by any means. The pads are paved, has full hook-ups but there are just a few small trees in the camping area and no privacy between the sites. The worst thing though is the train tracks that... More

This is a beautiful county park and campground where we have stayed while visiting my son who teaches at WMU. The campsites are very spacious, and the facilities are well kept. The trails around the ponds are excellent for walking alone or with your dog. We love coming here!

We visited this park just as a day visit...and loved it. It seems to be well set up for campers...although the sites looked a bit small. Our favorite part was a small bridge that crosses over the water. There were two people fishing from the bridge when we were there. There is a great paved walking path that goes around... More

We pulled the RV here to camp with friends. The campground is well maintained. We stayed two days and I and the chance to walk around the park. It is a beautiful park and the beach areas, playgrounds and walks around the ponds was amazing. The island with bridge was very romantic. We will definitely camp here again and would... More
