It doesn't look like muc from the parking lot. The back patio is dog friendly.
The staff was SUPER friendly and very nice.
Kat talked to us the whole time, even being busy making drinks.
They have "themed " mixed drink flights based on the vinyl playing.
The spirit menu gives great details about flavor profiles. We shared a single flight. And ended up buying a bottle.
The vibe is cool. I wouldn't mind visiting again and just relaxing.

Go here and order an old fashion. You will thank me later. The bartenders were also very helpful and friendly.

What a fantastic little place, great atmosphere, great service, fabulous drinks. No food, however, a kitchen is coming soon, and they are opening new locations.

An amazing addition to Kalamazoo! They are passionate about using local products and providing the community with quality, crafted spirits and cocktails - and all the ingredients are made from scratch! Owners and staff are extremely passionate about their products and it shows in every detail. Their High Point Honey Whiskey is unlike any other flavored whiskey you will ever try; made purely with Michigan honey - a MUST try on the rocks or just straight up!

What wonderful place to chill out and sip a craft cocktail! The staff was super knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere reminded me of the cafes I have visited in Europe: cozy, laid back, and inspiring. This is a place to go for good conversation and top notch libations ❤️

First time - highly recommend!
- High Point Honey Whiskey; smooth and robust, raw local honey adds a pleasant note.
- First Ascent whiskey; Straight, clear whiskey, straight from the barrel (no aging). Exciting.
- Get Lost Vodka; bold but smooth. Can drink neat, on the rocks, or in a Cosmo - delicious!

Sat at the bar for 15 minutes with no welcome. 3 bar tenders and only a dozen customers. When they did come over they were very pretentious. They only have white and honey whiskey. The vodka drink was not good and everything is quite pricey. There were stink bugs crawling around in the bar. The decorations were nice and neat repurposed building.

Visited the Green Door for the first time. What a great experience. The cocktails are really unusual and creative. Rob and Zack were exceptionally informative and just fun to talk to. The music was also entertaining. We’ll definitely be back.

This made for an interesting stop on a recent visit to Kalamazoo: one side of the space (an old mechanic's shop?) houses the gleaming distillery equipment while the other contains a bar and a few tables and sofas scattered about, The place is very low key, with a limited menu of cocktails made from their own spirits (whiskey, gin, vodka) as well as their own add-ins (homemade cranberry juice and ginger ale, smoked grapefruit). We ordered four. They were unusual (even the Bloody Mary and Cosmo), and delicious, notably lacking artificial or cloying sweetness.
But the service was excruciatingly slow: We ordered four cocktails. After almost 15 minutes, two were delivered. The other two came a full ten minutes later. Only one person was on duty, with about a dozen patrons. I would go back but wouldn't want to venture in if the place was very busy.
