I went skydiving with a few friends and the experience was amazing. Dom was my tandem diver and he was great. He explained everything multiple times so I had a full understanding of what would happen. I can’t recall the videographer’s name, but he should be recognized as well! They know you’re nervous and they get you talking so that you have somewhere else to focus your nervous energy.
Some things you should know:
1. Don’t forget cash to tip your tandem diver. They make the experience and should be recognized. I don’t ever have cash, but they give you little envelopes with the name of your diver, so I took it home and mailed the tip the day after my dive.
2. PAY FOR THE PICTURES AND VIDEOS. I initially wasn’t going to do it because I thought why pay for something that I’m only going to watch and look at once? I ended up doing it (no idea why I changed my mind) and I am so glad I did. I’ve watched all my videos multiple times. Bring some cash to tip the videographer as well. The videos are incredible and being able to watch later and experience the fall again from a different perspective is very cool.
3. For those scared of the feeling you get in your stomach when falling or on roller coasters: you get it even though some people say you don’t. It lasts only a couple seconds as you’re leaving the plane, but once you get up to speed, it either goes away or there is so much other stuff to think about that you forget to notice it.
4. Being scared is no reason to think you can’t do it!! If you aren’t even a little bit scared of what could go wrong jumping out of a plane, you’re nuts. I was nervous, my stomach was churning, and my body was shaking. All that gets left behind as soon as you’re out of the plane. The friend that suggested we skydive actually said a month prior to skydiving there was no way she would ever skydive because she was too scared. (Go find her review on FB: Heather Gray)
5. If you get motion sick, double up on the Dramamine. My friend and I each took one and it wasn’t enough. We both think the canopy ride would have been more enjoyable if we had taken more. It was still amazing, but I feel like I would have looked around more and really taken in the scenery, and maybe steered the chute a little, if I hadn’t felt sick to my stomach.

The greatest experience of my life. From thw start of walking in the front doors to not wanting to leave. The staff at the front desk was absolutely amazing. She was genuinely upset about having to turn a buddy away for being a few pounds over the limit. She also had encouraging words for him to return and they would be waiting with open arms. Checking in was extreamly easy and quick for the group of 6 I was with. We were then approached by our jump instructors who seemed to already know who we were. I was assigned to Scotti. I think scotti could tell I was a little timid at first so he sent a plethora of jokes my way. He was so hyped about my first jump which in turn made me more hype about it. His vidographer skills were absolutely amazing. Any question I had he immediately answered. It was great to have my first jump with not only an instructor that was very passionate about thier job, but with a company that strived to make thier jumpers happy. I will 100% jump again. I will 100% request scotti. I will 1000% return to Skydive Tecumseh!

I went skydiving for the very first time and it was absolutely amazing. I want to go again, and I highly recommend going. If you go, purchase the video package, it is 100% worth it! If you have any questions just email them, they are quick to reply and will answer any questions. They made the entire process easy, and efficient. I went tandem sky diving and they were extremely instructive, and walked me through everything. I also recommend the 14,0000 jump option. They may not be the cheapest, but high quality is the way to go when jumping out of an airplane!

This is a very well organized and run place. All the employees there are kind and knowledgeable. It was the best experience. They all made me feel more at ease knowing as a first time skydiver I was very nervous. They knew what to say and do to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible. My tandem instructor, Dominique was the best and I ten out of ten recommend him. The video package is well worth the extra money and make sure to ask for Hailey she is top notch. Thank Skydive Tecumseh for an indescribable experience!

I can’t say enough about skydive Tecumseh. From the moment we pulled in the parking lot and saw 6 parachutes gliding safely to earth, to the welcome at the front desk, to Dominic who made me feel secure, and even the girl that filmed me jump out of the plane at 14000 feet. This place is amazing, friendly, and very concerned about everyone’s safety.
I highly recommend jumping here😊🪂

I highly recommend Skydive Tecumseh!! Everyone there is very professional and takes their job seriously (even with small jokes here and there). My instructor was Scott and he has been doing this for many years. I trusted him over 100% and made me feel very safe and secure the entire time. There is no other place I would do tandem. I have completed the 14k and looking forward to possibly attempting the 18k. Wonderful experience!!!

Woo Hoo! I can finally cross this adventure off my bucket list. I did my first time skydiving as a 14,000ft tandem jump with Giulianno Scotti. I was so calm in the beginning and once up in the air I could not believe I was actually gonna do it. I wish everyone had the same instructor. Scotti was amazing like really really amazing!! What a great personality he has. He was so reassuring, knowledgeable, patient, experienced, fun, calm, you name it.. Thanks to Scotti I will always remember this day. The whole experience was safe and superb and I truly recommend it to anyone wanting to try new things. You will not regret choosing Skydive Tecumseh for all your jumps and by all means look for Scotti once there. Have fun!

The experience was absolutely amazing! I’m a 24 year old black woman that wanted to try something completely out of my comfort zone. I included demographic information because I know that I personally like to see that other black/POC have had a good time especially when an activity is done in an otherwise non-diverse region like Tecumseh. The staff is rather diverse relative to the city, and everyone went out of their way to make my first time (of many more to come) very enjoyable. I did 18,000 ft for my first time, but Id recommend doing 14,000 if you have sensitive ears (ears popping). Cody was my tandem skydiver! He likes to joke and laugh so be prepared for that! He knows what he’s doing :)

In one word: AMAZING!!! There are 2 reasons I state this, and one could not have happened without the other. The 18,000’ jump was great, but my instructor Givlianno Scotti set the stage right from “Hello!” He’s a world-class skydiver and a phenomenal teacher. He instilled confidence in every step of the process and encouraged me every step of the way. I cannot say enough about him and his abilities. Ask for Scotti, you will not regret it and you’ll thank me later! 5 Stars!!!

This was a great experience, I did a tandem jump with Giulianno Scotti and it was an amazing experience. He answered all my questions, had high energy, and told me what he was doing and needed me to do which inspired confidence in what we where doing. Thank you Scotti and Skydive Tecumseh for the fun experience. I cannot wait to do it again!
