This theater is in the center of the town. It looks like it’s from the past which is cool. It’s on a nice block with an antique store and a Ben Franklin.

Beautiful historic theater. We were visiting in the area and noticed that the theater had a music show scheduled (John DENVER Tribute). The show was fun, theater delightful and community experience wonderful.

The Ironwood Theatre takes you back in time to when entertainment meant a trip to the movie palace, complete with live vaudeville acts. The Ironwood is fully restored to its 1928 splendor and features a rare Barton theatre pipe organ that is also original to the theatre and fully restored. Check out the busy schedule that includes live plays and silent movies with organ accompaniment, as well as organ concerts.

Beautiful ornate theatre with lots of original character. Ironwood hosts lots of great talent! If you're in Ironwood for a vacation a show at HIT would be a great way to spend an evening!

This is an immaculate, beautifully restored theater. We’ve seen several well-attended events and have enjoyed them all. The seating is ample and comfortable, not always the case with a 90yr old theater. It is a true treasure, we are grateful to support it.

We were passing through on our upper mid west tour and decided to stop in down town Ironwood. The theatre is a really neat structure and actually there are many very neat structures in down town Ironwood. We spent an hour walking around and shopping in some of the local stores. Was a very nice way to spend an afternoon.

Built in 1928, the Historic Ironwood Theatre is one of Ironwood, MI.'s gems. It has one of only several original Barton Organs that is restored & ready to play. You must see it to really appreciate it. Once or twice a month you can catch a great show,,,from local entertainment to a big name act or perhaps a silent movie with the Barton organ playing. A must see in Ironwood, MI.

The Ironwood Theatre hosts an assortment of excellent concerts and performances. My favorite is always going to see the silent films, accompanied with live music on the organ. I've never been dissapointed. I've put tons of miles on my car, driving to Ironwood, just to attend concerts at the Ironwood Theater! It's well worth the trip! And the historic building is worth a visit, itself (with the beautiful murals and everything).
