Iron mountain is so peaceful, beautiful & relaxing.. Plenty to do, hiking, fishing, small shops & great dining.. Super place for family & couples.. Enjoy the crisp fresh air & extensive woods & hills covered in natural colors of the foliage..

Our kids are 4 & 1, no way they are walking the 500 steps and we're not going to carry them either. After a bit of driving around, we found you can get to the top by taking Kramer Dr off Hibbard St/Lower Pine Mountain...More

This was a challenging climb. One in our group decided to sit it out after climbing to the beautiful Veteran's Memorial half way to the top. This is a visit we'll make again!

It looks intimidating to climb 500 steps straight up the side of a hill/mountain, but there are a few places to stop and take a break. Once you get to the top of the 500 steps there is a veterans memorial. From there, you can...More
