About
A quaint family run Cider Mill. Warm donuts and fresh squeezed cider are the primary attraction. Throughout the season there are hayrides, a small petting farm, a corn maze, playground, picnic area and pumpkin patch. The store has lots of goodies including pies, apple butter, local honey and more.

My wife and I have grown up in the surrounding townships for years. We've enjoyed Diehls Cider Mills with our children for years. We've tried a handful of other cider mills but, we prefer Diehls Cider Mill. We've raised our kids coming here for a treat frequently. Now they have started their own families. We still frequent Mike & Chris's family business to get their awesome cider, warm donuts and local jam's when they're open. Being Michigan it's seasonal. I'll be introducing our grand children to this family tradition this summer - Can't wait. It's also been neat seeing the the different generations of the Diehl family run this family business. I believe Nick is pretty involve in the business now. If your looking for a nice drive in the country with your sweet heart, wanting to take family out or, just have a hankering for a warm or cold cup of cider; of coarse you have to have some "awesome" warm cinnamon donuts, this will take care of your craving. Great people, bring great business which, make great memories. Highly recommend this place.

Visited here today for the first time with my family. Overall I enjoyed the place but it wasn't anything unique or even that great and wouldn't make a trip back there without trying other places first. The orchard is on a narrow dirt residential street but has several parking areas available free of charge. Inside the store was a food stand that didn't look particularly appetizing, but I did not try it so can't judge, there is a large assortment of jams, jellies, butters (banana butter!) relishes, etc. which are moderately priced around 6-7$ jar. They also have pies and breads, but the bread about $7 a loaf! They have two lines available for donuts, one where you can buy individual or one where it's either a half-dozen or dozen (can't remember) that you must get. The cider is available from pint size up to a gallon, and is way overpriced at over $7 a gallon! We tried the sugar and plain donuts and the cider. Unfortunately I wasn't impressed with any of them :-( Don't get me wrong, they were good, but they weren't great, the cider was more like apple juice, and for the price I felt cheated. On grounds they advertise a "playground" and a "hay stack", but it's a bare bones wooden structure with some equipment missing and my daughter reports it was slippery in spots. The hay stack was just a few bales scattered in a small area. We didn't try the hay ride, but it's 3$ and appears to be a short ride. The kids did the $5 corn maze but didn't complete it because it was "boring". We went on a Saturday and the place was packed. At one point the donut line went through the store and out to the road (that a really long way!) but it moved steadily. As far as bathroom facilities go, they had a few port-o-potties that were fairly well maintained although very full and the hand washing station was out of paper towels. The grounds were kept clean and there was a ton of picnic tables, which was very nice. Also, dogs are allowed on the property (but not in the store) which was nice so I didn't have to leave the puppy at home while we enjoyed the fresh air! Overall we enjoyed ourselves and we are happy we checked it out, but as I said earlier, we won't likely be repeat customers.

For girls’s weekend we decided to take my sister in law to the orchard and out to dinner for her birthday. We went on Saturday afternoon and the place was already very busy. Picked up a dozen hot fresh donuts, cider, and Chocolate Peanut Butter Popcorn. The popcorn was actually the best of all. It was sinfully delicious. They also sell apples, candy, baked bread and desserts, etc. it’s a great place for the entire family. While we were there someone was having a birthday party. They had amusement rides, hay wagons, straw maze, playground and other fun things for every age, as well as picnic tables.

My wife and I recently visited Diehl's to participate in a 1 mile run event. A $15 participation fee was charged, with the promise of a long sleeve t shirt, hay ride, along with Apple cider and donuts. Upon arriving and paying the race fee we asked about getting the commemorative t shirt. We were told they did not have any but would have received one of if we had signed up 2 weeks prior to the run. I asked if there were t shirts being back ordered. No I was told. We were never told when we enquired about the event earlier in the week. I asked if the funds from the event were being used for any charities. Diehl's said no. After finishing the race we had a small cup of complimentary cider and a donut. We waited to find out about the hay ride but no one could tell us when it would be held. A disappointing experience to say the least.

Their donuts are one of the best I have had. I recommend the pumpkins ones that are only out for a limited time.

The best cider and donuts!! Cider Slushies are the SO refreshing on hot days. Cider Pops are great for the kids. I love that this Cider Mill has a focus of allowing you to create family memories in a real country setting.

what a fun, friendly place. Hay rides. Corn maze. and of course great cider and donuts. I bought a Giant Apple Fritter - WOW.

Annually they have a CiderFest with craft events, local entertainers, and a fun run.
Check out their website for the activities they offer.

My husband and I read about the 2018 Diehl's CiderFest in our local paper and were excited to participate in the 1 mile run and we recruited some friends and family to join in the fun. (The entry fee was $15 per person and included a "long-sleeved t-shirt, a hay ride, cider, apples and donuts"). We'd all participated in runs in the past and are always happy to help out with charity events! Come to find out, this was NOT a charity event and all proceeds went to Diehl's Orchards! Also, because we did not register for the event prior to September 15, we did not receive our t-shirts. The hay ride was nowhere to be found. This is a money making event for Diehl's! Used to be our favorite cider mill. Will not return.
