We called on Saturday morning to see if open bowling was happening with the current Covid restrictions. Staff hooked us up to bowl at 2:00 p.m. We were delighted to discover when we arrived that we were put in the VIP room which was so much fun. Our cocktail waitress, Celia was EXCELLENT! The fun graphics on the screens were a hoot and we had a great afternoon! Perfect activity when it's freezing outside!

What a combination of kid fun, adult fun, interactivity, amazing decorating, high energy, decent eats, comfy seating, perfect lighting, plentiful parking. I want a BAM! in my city! We arrived here after trying the local brew pub/burger joints only to find that the BOWLING ALLEY has it all. Thank you to the owner/operator for showing us how it is done!!

Our family with young kids and teenagers love this place. So many fun things to do- bowling, games, laser tag etc... very helpful and friendly staff. Kim was great and very helpful setting us up with play packages and serving the pizza and drinks. Can't wait to go back.

Played the Dracula’s Crypt room with a party of 5. Overall we were quite disappointed by the room and the whole experience. Our game master clearly did not want to be working and had zero enthusiasm regarding the room, our experience, or interest in reviewing the room once we escaped. Two of the electronic elements in the room were broken, including the final element, which lets you know you’ve “won” and completed the room. The game master tried to pass off the first broken element as a gift to us, as in, hey this drawer is just open for you and you don’t have to figure out how to open it. I paid full price to experience all the elements in the room. If two of your puzzles are broken you should either close the room and fix them, or discount the room. As it was we finished with almost 30 minutes left on the clock, which means we paid a high price for only 30 minutes of entertainment. Even then, the game master rushed us out of the room as we were talking it over with each other after we finished to make sure each person knew what all the puzzles were. We tried to ask him questions and he just busied himself with resetting the room. Between us, we have played over 60 rooms and this was the worst one.

Would have been nice to know on the website before we drove all the way down from Grand Haven to find the two things we wanted to do torn out and the new feature not put in yet!
Escape Room is gone, Rope Course was closed, Axe Throwing not yet built. Then they sucked us into the "kids bowl free" promotion, which is not actually free, but in fact cost us $37.95.
The lane approaches or shoes, not sure which were very sticky and therefore impossible to slide and get a good release. Overall, not worth the trip.

Having not bowled in over 20 years, we were leary about trying it again. But from getting proper shoes to easily finding bowling balls that fit, this place was fantastic. We only tried the bowling lane area, but it was clean and spacious. A waitress came right over to take our drink order. Everyone was pleasant and we had a blast bowling. Definitely a place we will be coming back to.

Lots to do here. Bowling is economical, lanes are well attended and there are ramps for little ones. Full bar. Arcade area with rewards that is pretty typical for the youth birthday party set. The laser tag area is quite big and a lot of fun.

It would be nice to ask the customers if they are done eating with their food and not just cleaned up the whole table without asking anybody . Bam is the only place I have spend time with that do not ask the customers if they needed boxes or not .

One of kids’ favorite things to hear is, “You guys wanna hit Bambo?” It is ALWAYS a blast for all age groups. There’s kiddy stuff for the three-year-old, challenging games like laser tag for the nine-year-old, bowling for the teens, and a West Michigan brewed beerski for me!
My older son and I get competitive on the basketball throws and guide the younger ones in their play. We all emerge from BAM completely sweaty, full of Bam bites (pizza bites with Parmesan and marinara dipping sauce), and AGLOW with another fun time at Bambo! Woohoo!!!
PS The owners are supernice Saugatuck locals who ensure that the atmosphere is truly family friendly. The space is sectioned off appropriately so that even if you’re with kids and it gets late, the arcade, nice bathrooms, and an exit are located separately from the bar and bowling areas.Cool, huh?
