It's particularly difficult to get to Veldheer Gardens these days; there's so much construction in the area. Once you arrive at the attraction, you wonder if it's still a going concern. The entrance is a little confusing, but I took a chance and found myself inside an enormous warehouse. They sell every kind of knickknack you can imagine, lots of... More

I stopped here to see the Delft workshop and the wooden shoe workshop. Both were authentic. I also went in the garden shop. There wasn't much in there at this time, but I'm sure there will be plenty in the fall. I did pick up a catalog, so that I can order some bulbs. I didn' see any of the... More

A bit pricey admission but the flowers were beautiful - acres of them. It was a warm sunny days so the colors were radiant. It was a pleasure seeing the wide varieties of tulips - more than I ever knew existed. Glad we went but once was enough.

This is a great place to see bulb flowers before you buy rather than just seeing a picture. If you are not interested in buying bulbs, you can enjoy it for the beauty in the colorful flowers and combinations of flowers.

We didn't make it during the tulip season, but enjoyed the gift shop immensely! The staff was so friendly and started up the wooden shoe machines just to show us specifically how they're made. They chatted with us & answered all sorts of questions. The Dutch food they sell was delicious! We bought speculoos, wind mill cookies, stroopwafles, and an... More

If you are just going to see the Tulips, it is not worth it. Because you would not be able to see fields of Tulips around there. However, Veldheer group does charge you $10 per person to see a small enclosed garden of tulips. The negative side is that it is pretty crowded that you will not be able to... More

Was there in the area for the Tulip, which we didn't know was happening at the time we passed by. Lot of stuff going on.

I knew that due to this springs weather the tulips bloomed a bit early, so I wasn't expecting the tulip gardens to look like the photos that Veldeers puts out in their marketing materials. But I also wasn't expecting the weeds. There were so many weeds mixed in with the tulips that at times the weeds were higher. The buildings... More

Drove out specifically to see this. Was very surprised that the tulips are completely fenced with a $10.00 entry fee to see them. That's a dollar more than Windmill Island!!! Declined to pay the rather taciturn ladies at the counter and left.
