The volunteer staff is awesome. Beautiful setting inside and out. Lots of parking. Did the tour and they were dressed in vintage style and acted out as family members. Check out their web site for Free Tour Days.

Great place for a wedding venue. Nice looking, well maintained building and grounds. Rural location. The celebration was on a couple floors (there is an elevator) with some steps on the main floor and second floor so not very handicap friendly. It was quite picturesque...More

Our visit was part of a bus tour throughout Michigan. Upon our arrival we were met by guides who appeared to have a genuine love for the house and their jobs. They brought the house to life and encouraged us to wonder around with minimal...More

We went at Christmas, so the decorating was seasonal. Not sure what It looks like other times! The house is remarkably like the Feldt Mansion near Saugatuck, MI. They were built the same year so many surfaces and fixtures were similar.

We stopped here on our way out of town. I couldn't believe that you can just walk around inside anywhere you want. It is free but they have a place for donations.

Well worth your time to visit and walk the beautifully manicured landscaping and walk down the almost 100 steps to beautiful Gull Lake. The house is magnificent and you can check the whole house out. No ropes or rooms are off limits.
