This is the best skiing in the lower peninsula. The front blues and blacks provide excellent speed and slaloming for the advanced skier. The back glades have natural moguls and the were powder and oh, so fun when we were there day before Christmas Eve. And there was hiking to even more glade skiing. This is a skier's place, and... Decided to cross country ski this year - first time in 30+ years. This required us to rent equipment and going through the dreaded rental facility process - which is traditionally fraught with chaos, especially the week between xmas and new years. We were sure surprised! The rental process was very smooth and well organized. We were in and out... More

Staying at the Hamlet for the first time after coming to Nubs Nob for years. The convenience is amazing! We come to N2 because my kids love the shear number of green/blue runs they have on the back side of the mountain. They love meandering through the trees for their entertainment. I think there enough advanced runs to keep me... More

Pretty place! Not much going on this time of year we thought there were lifts open to see fall colors as we saw in the paper but none were open and the place looked deserted

This hill is a little more challenging but we seemed to manage. The slopes were very icy the night we were there. The entire staff was very friendly. Can't wait for our next trip next season!!

We have been skiing in Michigan for over four decades and have never encountered snow making and grooming at the same level of expertise as we found at Nub's this past Saturday. The runs were in great condition especially for the numerous freeze thaw cycles we've had this winter. We loved the peaceful, wooded setting of the runs on Pintail... More

Nub's Nob is an inviting little ski resort with plenty of hills for all levels of skier. The staff is always smiling and accommodating, including the lift operators. The place is small enough where you can find everyone, usually camped our around the large fireplace or hanging out in Nub's Pub. Brown Bag Cafeteria has plenty of quick food options,... More

Nubs is in my opinion the best place to ski in Michigan. The staff is friendly and the snow grooming is second to none. I highly recommend Nubs.

My husband and I enjoy snowboarding together. This was our first time to Nub's Nob and we had an excellent time. They were calling for rain but it was a great day out. We spent most of our time on Pintail Peak. But the only way to get to it is by taking Duck Soup, which is a flat run.... More
