We visited during a three day ski clinic with Lisa Densmore in late Jan. and had a really great time in the clinic. The things that were frustrating were the logistics of trying to get around the place easily. The place is just too spread out and we wasted so much time going from one building to another. Down the... More

Always a great time at Boyne Highlands. They got a ton of snow the week we headed up there so skiing was great. One thing, we would love the night skiing to be expanded. There is only real one good size lift that gets you on a handful of runs. So that line to get on that lift grows large... More

We've been here several times. We always come back. It's our favorite ski resort in Mi. Great runs. Great lodge. Very clean. Super happy.

While lower Michigan doesn't compare to New England or Western skiing, this is as good as it gets on the lower peninsula. It can be way to crowded on holiday weekends, but mid-week and evenings provide wide-open runs and short or no chair lift lines. I find it much preferable to nearby Nubs Nob.

Our family's favorite ski area with something for everyone. Fantastic staff!! Alert chairlift operator noticed beginnings of frostbite on my daughter's cheeks, suggested a break to warm up-nice to see caring people working there! Big enough to roam a bit, does not seem crowded even when they are really busy. Can't wait for our next trip.

Spent one night there while in the Petoskey area. The grounds and room were nice, but very dated and in need of a face lift. There were water spots on the ceiling in the room, perhaps where the roof had leaked in the past. The bathroom light was dim in the shower area--but got brighter the longer it was on.... More

Boyne Highlands is just "Awesome". You can't be bored there! Golf was excellent, the "villas" are beautiful. The amenities are never ending. There is no way anyone could be bored. Just driving around the Highlands is a great treat. It's close to Petosky, the gambling, etc. No complaints there.

We've played both. For non-tournament golfers, The Hills course is hands-down the best Boyne Highlands course. For the most part, the wide fairways are welcoming. Greens are not necessarily large, but, as opposed to the Heather, all Hills greens are not surrounded by bunkers. It plays slow at Heather because the non-pro golfers are raking a lot of bunkers. The... More

We enjoyed 2 nights at Boyne Highlands. Our room was very clean, beds were very comfortable, staff friendly, and the grounds were gorgeous. Very well kept. The parking lot and entrance is not well lit at night at all.
