Located in Hamtramck, a long time Polish enclave, is where you'll find this wonderful shop. The rather large store is filled with a wide assortment of goods made in Poland. Everything from inexpensive cards to books to some rather expensive ceramics can be found here. I was able to pick up some nice gifts for friends and family. The owners... More

My husband and I stopped in and had a wonderful time with the lovely couple who own the shop. There were so many beautiful and original pieces of art, jewelry, clothing and books. It felt like you had taken a step back into a kinder and gentle time in history. As our purchases were being rung up she made us... More

We decided to head down to Hamtramck for the day and soak up some Polish Culture. This was one of our first stops. This store is chock full of fabulous imports. We had a little one with us and I was worried about her touching and breaking things, but as it turned out, they had sample toys out and she... More

My wife and I took a trip to Detroit to attend an event one evening. This left us with the day following to explore other places around the area. In the office of the hotel we stayed at there was a brochure of the Polish Art Center. Since I am of Polish decent, we were intrigued to see what this... More

Besides myself and immediate family, many friends have visited this wonderful store. We all drive in from a variety of other counties and shop this little gem at least twice a year! Everyone stopping in will find beautiful treasures for all ages. During the Christmas season, it's as though you are transported to a magical place where music laughter and... More

The Polish Art Center, located in the heart of Hamtramck, is the perfect place to find beautiful hand made items and more from Poland. This was my second time coming to this store, I had come here last year when I was in Detroit and found some wonderful gifts for family and friends. The store is filled from top to... More

I always have so much fun shopping at the Polish Art Center! They have everything Polish you could imagine - from language, geneology, and travel books, to food & candies, to beautiful amber jewelry, and everything in between! They have a wonderful assortment of Boleslawiec pottery with so many beautiful pieces to choose from. They also have Polish folk art... More

Located in Hamtramck, a city that sits within the city of Detroit, is this wonderful store filled with Polish goodies. I had gone here to pick up a few gifts. It was easy to find since it's located on one of the cities main streets. The store is much larger than it appears from the outside and every inch was... More
