I dined here here 2 times on my last sled trip from Calumet, Mi. to Eagle River, Wisconsin. We had lunch here on 2-13-21 on the way down to Eagle and we liked it so much we made it a point to stop in again for lunch on the way back. The food is good and the staff is friendly. Across the street is Pat's Yamaha & Polaris and they sell fuel and all kinds of good things you may need for your sled.

I have included a menu for you to look at. The second time was actually better than the first only because it was less busy and we were able to try more items on the menu. I highly suggest trying the corn nuggets and the jalapeno cheese curds. Both were killer. The chicken noodle soup is a sure winner and the burgers were incred. I dont get out this way often but rest assured I know where I am stopping for food when I do.

The staff was awesome and friendly. Just an FYI if you come in with a group bigger than 8 people all food and drinks will be on one tab. They only accept cash. They ranch tots are to die for! I like the atmosphere it’s laid back and fun!

Three of us were motorcycling on Memorial Day and if its difficult enough to find pubs or supper clubs in the UP, try a major holiday. So when we happened upon the Pit Stop and saw a bunch of cars there, we hoped for a good meal. This place is a gold mine, not so much for decor, but because of the owner and food. When you walk in, you feel like your in a diner more than a pub. The bar is nice and has a modern cool feel, but the restaurant is very simple. Although the bar was busy, Valerie greeted us from behind the bar and said she would be right with us. She was great. You could not ask for a friendly owner/server/bartender. Her timing in drinks, ordering, bringing food out, and checking on us could not have been better. Not bad as she was doing most of the running around taking care of customers. As for food, we had the BBQ Pit burger, mushroom swiss burger, and a Hawaiian pizza. All were excellent and we thought were fairly priced. The whole bill was $47 and included 5 drinks. We would not hesitate to come back to this hidden treasure in the UP. Nice meeting you Valerie and good luck.

So, not much around if you’ve been at The Adventure Mine and are hungry. We ate here following our mine tour and had a burger. Nothing to write home about, and if I lived in the area, it would not be my pick to eat out. But it is well-suited for a pit stop.

Nice facility, just had a burger and a beer. Fair price, good food. Staff was friendly. If you are nearby, it is a good place to refill.

Went here to stop for a drink to take a break from snowmobiling. The waitress never checked up on us. It's very overpriced for the portions they give you. Also they don't take a credit card only cash.

We stopped here this previous weekend for our snowmobile trip in the UP to grab a quick lunch & take a break. The bartender was super nice & efficient. We ordered 4 shots, and took it on the shot ski! If you don't know what a shot ski is, you have to try it. My husband & I shared the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Pizza - which is homemade and delicious! Great place to stop at :)

We stopped at The Pit Stop for lunch while on a snowmobile adventure. We had 15 people in our group and they handled our drink/food order easily. Our food was out in no time and it was all very good. There were several other groups being served in addition to our group and then shortly after we arrived a group of 8 more people arrived. Obviously they are experienced with handling and serving large groups of people in a timely manner. I had the ham and cheese on a pretzel bun and my husband had the BBQ pork sandwich--both were excellent choices!
