My husband and I just browsed because there was nothing we needed. Lots of wonderful items - most were very expensive. Friendly clerk. We enjoyed seeing all there was!

With a name that reflects the heritage of the AuSable and Manistee Rivers located nearby, the range of art invites browsing just for the gallery visual experience. The works of photographer Ken Wright and wildlife artist Kim Diment are extraordinary in their range and talent. With other area talent, this gallery provides an ever changing invitation to enjoy the best of northern Michigan.

The Main Branch Gallery offers very nice wildlife art by local artists. A very nice selection of art was on exhibit. We enjoyed viewing the art.

Such a nice place to stop in and look at local art work. Friendly and helpful staff. Some of the art is available in smaller prints so it easy to pick up while on vacation as a souvenir.

This is an amazing art gallery in downtown Grayling. My wife and I stop in all the time to see the new artwork. Most of the art deals with wildlife, but there're weaving a and furniture as well. This place is a must when exploring downtown Grayling.

We stopped while strolling through downtown Grayling. The gallery is nicely laid out and very inviting. There is everything from paintings to jewelry to sculptures. We felt very welcome just browsing through the store. We were not intending to buy anything, but we fell in love with a hand carved wooden owl. It is a perfect keepsake of our trip.

Watercolor, acrylic, oils, sculptures, and carvings all around a wildlife theme make this a fabulous gallery. It was impressive, and it was sorted by artist as each has an area on the wall or on the floor.
Being a wildlife artist myself, I was favorably impressed. About 3/4 of the paintings are prints - limited editions. This does make the art more affordable. Know what you are buying and ask questions because art on a canvas can still be a print made from the original.
This is a great addition to downtown Grayling.

"Local wildlife art gallery" doesn't usually conjure up an image of world-class wildlife art, but The Main Branch breaks the mold of such stereotypes. The gallery features 26 local and Michigan artists, three of whom are members of the invitation-only Society of Animal Artists. And it shows! The quality of work, from paintings, sculptures, pen-and-ink and carvings, to jewelry and pottery, is simply stunning. There is tremendous diversity of subjects, mediums, and even price tags. Michigan is the theme throughout, so it was no surprise to find traditional subjects such as deer, cardinal, wolves and trout. But there were also gorgeous pieces of nuthatches, porcupines, blue jays and even turkey vultures. It is a celebration of all of Michigan's wildlife, in beautiful detail! Enjoy the experience!

It's all about the atmosphere! Elegant, quiet and peaceful is how I would describe the Main Branch Gallery's atmosphere. It somehow gives me the same feeling I have when I'm in the chapel out at Hartwick Pines State Park. The art is fabulous and the artists are very talented - staff know their product and are super friendly...down-to-earth and willing to talk. Make sure you stop downtown and check them out!

Nice little local artist store that has some beautiful paintings, jewelry, furniture, etc. Some things are quite expensive while others are average priced. Still worth the trip in to see beautiful handmade items.
