It's a great course but how is a golf course not open on Sundays? I was so disappointed to discover this. I've also noticed it seems as though it closes earlier than most other courses. Their "twilight rates" start at 3PM and according to their website are only available on Friday and Saturday so I don't know if that means they close early on Mon-Thurs. They have a nice driving range but you literally have to drive there as it's a half-mile down the road.

Beautiful Course! Well manicured and very fast greens! The layout has only 2 par 5's but many holes play like par 5's. Many elevation changes and this is the first time I experienced the greens being overly fast and sometimes unforgiving

The course is in a very good condition. Sometimes it is quite challenging with protective bunkers and water hazards. Caddies were very experienced. Highly recommend this course.

This is a hidden gem of a golf course. Well managed, well maintained and a blast to play! only 2 par 5's on the course, but some of the par 4's play like par 5's because of the elevation changes. It's a fair but challenging course and would play it more often if it wasn't 60 miles away.
Nice pro shop as well. Only thing I didn't care for are the GPS golf carts which made you stay pretty much close to the cart paths

the course has interesting topographical changes with elevated tees and greens throughout. Rolling greens too. An above average layout....average maintenance and facilities.

Built over old gypsum mines, the course has a very cool layout! Well manicured and maintained. Only 2 Par 5's on the entire course but some of the par 4's feel like 5's due the elevation changes. Priced decently, they offer something for everyone.
Only a couple of negatives are that they are closed Sunday's and have no liquor license.

The course is well maintained and in great shape. A lot of hills and valleys and not much flat ground with undulating greens. Tough course with slow play.

What a hidden gem!

I live near Grand Rapids for 30 years, I am never knew this course was here, it is very well groomed and has tremendous change in elevation throughout the course.

The course is very very green, as the water it from Waterfield caverns beneath the course that used to be a gypsum mine.

Played Sat 7/29/17 with my brother in law on a gorgeous low humidity summer afternoon. It has been ten years since we played here and my bro law had a $75 gift cert so it ended up costing us $33 total.( $54+$54=$108-$75) I don't feel it's worth $54 personally but the place was packed and was playing slow, no rangers to be found.
Built on top of an old Gypsum mine it is now 10-12 yrs old. It is a long tract from the tips and without bent grass fairways you don't get quite the roll. Several par fours 460-475 yards. Not all that many sand traps and the few there are quite firm. Funny how this is a Devries design but way different than my "home" course Pilgrims Run. Several holes come back and forth with balls in the wrong fairways.

Had an enjoyable day nonetheless but it may be a while before we're back, very noisy with Int.196 adjacent, lots of high tension power lines and visually not the most scenic.

This is course is on outstanding condition. For the last three years it has gotten better and better. The greens are fast and in great condition. This course is a fun one to play, each hole needs to be approached differently. Some are good for the "big hitters" and some are better for ball placement. Definitely one of the best courses in the west part of town.!
