I attended The Mega 80s event held in the Elevation room. Seating is set up around and above the stage and dance floor making it easy to enjoy the band whether dancing or chilling at a table. They have a coat check for $5 which is great to keep your keys and jacket where you can easily find them. The drinks are a bit pricey but I guess that is to be expected at this sort of venue.

We went to see a local band. I was pleasantly surprised by how safe and clean the place was. I have heard so many bad things in years past, but all that is in the past. They have cleaned it up. Great music by Laurentian Tides!

Each time we have been we have went knowing there would be little to no seating (something they should try to fix) Loud, Lots of the audiance dancing and singing to the songs (Fun) with beers served in cans and drinks in plastic cups with too much ice and not enough alcohol. You really need to be ready to get a little wild here in order to have a good time. Parking can be hard to find, and wish they had some available areas to seat more people or at least lean against more tables.

My cousin's and I purchased concert tickets to see one of our favorite country artists months in advance. We drove 3 hours to Grand Rapids and got a hotel room for the night. After eating dinner, we made our way to The Intersection. When we walked in the door, we waited in line for a drink. After being there for 45 minutes, the place was packed and it was hard to find an open area to stand. My cousins tried navigating through the crowd to find an open area when they accidently bumped into a man and spilled some of their drink on his arm. The man was very upset and called security to the scene. Security instantly told us we had to leave the venue and were not allowed back in due to the incident. After being escorted out of the building, we went to the bar across the street only to find other people who had also been kicked out of The Intersection for lame excuses. Considering people were jammed into the venue, I am guessing the concert was oversold and the building was past max capacity, therefore, some of the population in the building had to be eliminated. I am very disappointed with our experience and would not recommend this facility for attending a concert.

Worst place ever! Gone down hill. Staff is rude and turning into a dive. Needs shut down. Just for kids. Should shut down the bars and make it a 20 and under club. Music acts they have are worthless. We will stay at 20 Monroe or drive to Detroit to see another concert.

This is a great venue, very clean, very friendly staff, and drink prices were very good.

The artist we heard was mixed well and crowd was incredible.

We would go back again.

Hands down one of the best venues in MI or at least one of my favorites. Staff is friendly, they know what they are doing, and they are efficient at getting people into the shows on time, unlike some other venues I've been to in MI that make you wait in the freezing cold for hours on end. The large stage area has plenty of bar sections so you're not having to fight through the entire crowd to get a drink. They have another smaller section of the building where they frequently have at least two shows in a night. Great place, would recommend. Please continue booking the best talent GR appreciates it!

I have been to the intersection at least 20+ times. The intersection is easily accessible all though the parking lots atriums that area of town are sometimes access card only. The price of tickets even with the online fees has always been reasonable. I have seen lots of shows here and have never had a bad experience. The security is not heavy handed and responds and intervenes when needed. The bar staff at the main stage bar are always busy and work quickly, they really bust their hump. Sometimes there is hardly anyone at the side bars depending on the show and you can get quick drinks there. The drink prices are fair. There is not much seating so be prepared to stand as most tables are reserved. Sometimes you can view the stage line up if you stand near the sound or light boards.

My wife and I drove from Detroit to Grand Rapids to see our favorite county artist and the show was great. The show took place at the stache within the Intersection. The sound was good and the crowd was laid back. The show itself ended at around 1020pm. My wife and I wanted to purchase merchandise from the artists and have a some water before driving to our hotel. When the show was over I headed over to the bar ordered a Coke and they said the bar was closed. Then I asked for a water they replied nope. Bar closed, time to go. I thought wow that is rude. My wife and I stood in line to buy a concert t-shirt while the security team kept asking everyone to leave. Make your way to the door. Bar closed. Finish beer. Time to go. The place was cool but the people running the place were rude plus the ticket I purchased said from 630pm to 1100pm and the threw us out at 1030pm. I've been to many venues and the people running this place are by far the worst I've ever encountered. I'm sure they are just doing their job. Next time we will take our money to Joe's Bar in Chicago.
