I live in the neighborhood and never tire of the beautiful surroundings. The area covers alot of ground and every street missed is another treasure passed.

Great houses and friendly people. We took a long walk and had a great time. We couldn't visit the Frank Lloyd Wright house because it was closed but the other houses were great to look at.

This area was going to be torn down in the late 60's/early 70's until a few visionaries fought to save it. Stunning historic homes, including Frank Lloyd Wright. Very worthwhile to drive through and visit.

This area of Downtown Grand Rapids is very much in revival mode full swing. Lots of nice shops and restaurants. Beautiful old homes in various stages of renovation.

We wanted to drive by the Frank Lloyd Wright house, but we ended up being way more interested in the rest of the neighborhood! Definitely a neat group of houses to see. Having lived in New England (old and charming) and Chicago (lots of famous...More

A group of late nineteenth and early 20th century houses. Some had been converted into apartments, but many are historically restored. The area includes some more modern, non-historic properties. It is worth a look, if you are interested in housing of this period.
