I have been wanting to get back to the simple pleasure of reading and collecting comic books, but had been preoccupied or timid about doing so since it has been 25 plus years since I read them as a young child. I happened to pass by The Comic Signal this weekend and decided to stop in to pick something up for a cousin's birthday. The owner was there and was extremely kind and helpful. So much so that I went back the following day to learn more for myself. I will be back often and love the old fashioned customer service provide!

There are several very nice sources for comics in GR but Comic Signal wins for me because it is nearby but mostly because the staff is so great and that's a major factor for me. Any old shop will have a wall of current mags you can get them anywhere but Don and his family are just the kindest folks ever and that's who I choose to support.

What a great store! Such an immense collection of comics and graphic novels! You can tell that the people who own it know about comics. When we visited on a Saturday afternoon, it was pretty busy. Cool music playing. Nice atmosphere. Would definitely come again.

This store is great. Not only are the staff wonderful and helpful, the owner knows his stuff. They have lots of games, toys, comics and collectibles and are located right outside of downtown Grand Rapids. Definitely THE best comic shop in the area.
